and drop kerr, fletcher, glass, cox, nico, bones, waters, wirra, selwood...actually just drop anyone thats played more then 10 games, and once those players have played 10 games, drop them.

McKinley has been awesome.

He has started 08 the way LeCras ended 07. :thumbsu:

Im against dropping lynch full stop.

I have a feeling lynch is on the up/

not that he will rip games apart but that his worst games are behind him.

Correct. FFS guys - how do you expect this team to gel if you keep wanting to throw players on the scrapheap each weekend.

He is only 184 cm. Little small for a FF

I agree, Lynch should not be dropped, we need his size and presence more than people think.

Does it make a difference?

Will be interesting to see how he copes with the number 1 defender.

cant wait to get lecras back though, a classy little guy in the fwd line who can also help make other players better.

lynchy improved on his last game, keep him in. he'll get better. please no hansen though, at least a few weeks in the WAFL.

i think kennedy is a given...although we've thought that the last few weeks.

Lloyd is listed at 192cm. Not that much bigger.

But if McKinley keeps going I could see him being a Robertson/Brad johnson/Bradshaw/Corey Jones type forward.

Very Handy.

Well im struggling to think of a team that has won a flag with the main forward that small. Love him as a player but he needs to be next to a big guy aka fridge or lynch.

The forward line could become reasonably potent over the next month. JK is an unknown but Lecca back will be a big plus.

mckinley wont be our main guy, thats whats good about him.

if you got kennedy and lynch performing it can allow a player like mckinley to play on the oppositions 3rd backman and become a real threat.

i'd rather someone his size up there complimenting the 2 talls.

Very happy with his peformance today, to the extent of calling for a full size poster of him to be mounted on my bedroom ceiling. Don't think the mrs will be too happy, or maybe she will????!!

Very impressed with his start to the season. Would have called for him to take Mastens spot against Adelaide if i knew Woosha was gonna play Masten in the forward pocket. Hopefully he and Kennedy can become a dynamic duo :p:thumbsu:

Nope.

Anything above 30 would be a real good year IMO.

Need another 2 or 3 guys to get to the 25-30 mark.

I hope the club are ringing his manager day and night to get him signed up for the next three years. He is out of contract at the end of the year. If we lose him after putting three years of development into him I'll be pissed.

Is it just me or does McKinley have a similiar style to J. Brown when kicking for a set shot? Noticed it for the first time today, just seems so smooth and effortless :)

Anybody else notice his strut around the goal square late in the game, would put Franklin to shame.

Listed as 6' but thinks he's 6'8 with a 10" ____ at the moment

He has 12 goals in 3 games. I don't even want to know what the next best is. 5? 6? From 5 games?

Happy to have him in our forward line. Mckinley LeCras Lynch/Kennedy looks like a dangerous HF/FF line in anyone's speak.

That would be hard to do!

I really dont care if he is struting or not, I just wish the rest of the team would follow his lead. We could do with a dose of arogance and confidence right now.

Wont comment on your forward coaching (as have got into trouble for stating the obvious before) but have another thread running about best line up. If Ben is not FF you cant expect him to get more than 30 goals/yr whereas if he is, he may get 50+ (no guarantee as it is early days) and the question is "Who else have you got who might do that?" (Don't say Kennedy until you have seen him - he won't)

mckinley can and probably will kick 40 goals this season. if we begin a run anytime this season i reckon he could kick bags by the dozen. to kick 5 against port was just simply insiprational. only one standing up and i do hope he doesnt pull a judd. he has leadership qualities bleeding from him.

You are right about the leadership qualities but as big a fan as I am, he still hasn't made it just yet (but should). I expect him to play a lot better than he did against Port if the team can supply for 4 quarters and he becomes number one leading option. As I would have expected, he spoke extremely well when interviewed on SEN radio today.
