Who Will be the clubs next poster boy. In the past players like Roo, Mods, Jars and still playing Macca have been players to draw the crowds. The type of player you get excited about when he's near the ball.
So what player(s) out of our young stars do you think will drag fans out of the lounge rooms and to the game.
So far I would say Kurt and Danger

Agreed, add vince and porps and given time I personally think Kite is a smokey. Could be the perfect franklin match up- remember how good the Jakovich and Carey duels of the 90s were.:thumbsu:

I think it'll be Walker. If he wears his heart on his sleeve for AFC like he does for Norwood then I think he will have the type of passion and goal scoring ability that we'll love and opposition supporters will hate.

Agree with Tex. If he can be a dominate FF which we havent seen since Mods, it will bring fans to the game. Dominate forwards have always been great marketing power for clubs

11 goals in three games so far???
Just wait until he adjusts to pace of AFL/SANFL properly and stops kicking them out of raw talent/ability alone.
Danger is the other obvious one. Hopefully cook develops into and in and under hard nut. We all love them

I know I might be alone here but if you were adding another tall at either end, Sellar ans another forward and Kite/Moran as another back (I hope one of these teo can be our designated Buddy Killer)

Norwood are a rabble, but I'll probably go on Friday just to have a look at Walker.

Porps... have loved his style since his first game and love his committment at the ball and his skills are amazing to watch.
Reilly is another for me, his foot skills are very impressive.
Poster boys though? Probably not... they just excite me when watching the crows.

Patrick, as in Saint Patrick, who drove all the snakes from Ireland.
Also has browny-reddish hair, like Snake from the Simpsons.

Shares the same first name as Kurt Russell who played Snake Plisken in Escape From New York AKA Kurt = SNAKE! (That and his I take no shit attitude on the footy field reminded me of the characters no take shit attitude in the movie)
And yes there may have been a little beer consumed when that was thought up but its stuck with my group of mates now so we are sticking with SNAKE! :)

Who'll be our next Much Maligned player?
Perrie has gone, Burton and Shirley are getting towards the end of their career. Jericho doesn't play often enough to attract the tag. Robran is long forgotten. David Gallagher a distant memory. Soon we'll need a replacement.
Douglas is showing some potential, as is Otten given Drummond's post on him. My tip though is Sellar.

Note most of the "Much Maligned" nominees are all players Drummond has something against :p
