Do you think Dunstall's record goal haul of 17.5 vs Richmond in 1992 is under threat this week?
Mark this down... Buddy will break the 18 goal record one day! :thumbsu:

is every body completely obsessed with buddy, yes he is becomming a terrific player and will continue to do so, it seems people are complimenting him on doing things that he has not yet achieved, why dont we wait for him to kick 18 goals and then applaud him

What your suggesting is that Buddy plays more than twice as well as he did last week.
If he ever kicks that many it won't be untill he's about 25.

I was at that game when JD kicked his 17.
He had a dream run from umpires that day and made the most of it.

Lucky you! It must have been a great spectacle :thumbsu:amazing to think he kicked 3 bags of 12 that year too. 53 goals from 4 games:eek:.
One side of me thinks, this is a joke right? No way. Buddy wont kick that many. He needs to double his Brisbane tally to beat that.
There’s also a part of me that thinks he can. Maybe not this weekend, but it could happen in time. He looks in career best form now? If not, how much more will he improve? He would end up with 3 defenders on him by the time he got to 10 goals though.
Could you imagine all the hype after the game? He'd be like a rock star. For the rest of his career, it would be complete Buddy-mania.

I was at a stupid cub camp :(
I got an update from some old dude...telling me Bunghole kicked 17. I told him to stop ____ing lying to kids.
Gladly i got it wrong :thumbsu::D
I saw his 14 against the BUllies...what a night. Even Langers kicked a couple that night

I really hope all this over-confidence (i.e. cockiness) doesn't come back to bite us on the ass!

So was I. The umps may have given him an armchair ride but so too did D Jarman. There were 3 particular kicks from Jarman that day which defied the possible but he still did them and hit Dunstall lace out.
With the service provided by DJ that day, even I could have kicked 7 - 10, and I am old, fat and cripled by knee injuries and osteo.

If he does he'll need about 30 shots on goal.

I hope it does!
Pretty difficult to kick 7 let alone 17 on a wet deck

Well, if he can have one of his good days, AND manage to kick straight........ He might be able to give 10 goals+ a good nudge.
17 goals is a hell of a lot though........... On current accuracy it would end up having to be 17 goals 15 behinds!!!!!!

Buddy's a roaming forward, so it's harder . . . Dunstall and Lockett and Lloyd and co. were goal square players . . .

You are getting this confused with Carltons season to date score
