All the best to Nathan Eagleton and Brian Lake who are well on track to become the games record holders for their respective jumper numbers in the next few weeks.
Eagleton needs 2 games to equal Joe Ryan in 10.
Lake needs 3 games to equal Jose Romero

Looking through that you would think Ray (1), Murphy (2), Hahn (8), Eagleton (10), Williams (12), Griffen (16), Cooney (17), Lake (36), Wight (37) and Harbrow (40) all have a good chance of claiming the record for their respective jumpers. Gilbee (9) could also be a good chance.

Started in 29, played 76 games in it.
Interesting trivia question, name the 6 players who have worn it since.

Brad Johnson is likely to have the most games in a number for the club.
Currently he is at 290 would esaily get the 40 odd games to surpass Dougie Hawkins.

Alan Thorpe, Daryl Griffin, Stephen Powell, Lindsay Gilbee, Kieran McGuinness and Andrejs Everitt who ironically took over Grant's #3.

I should say, those numbers in the OP are at the end of 2007.
So Brad Johnson is a few games closer.
But he'll still have to play next year to pass Douggie.

I just bought an old footscray jumper I found in an op-shop, has #44 on the back of it. Does anyone know where I can get info on who has played in #44 over the years, as it looks a bit old for Richard Osborne.
Thanks

Thanks mate. Doesn't look like anyone played in the #44 for long enough to warrant a supporter putting it on their jumper, unless someone jumped on the Mark Hunter bandwagon very early. Mind you I got #3 on my new jumper this year for Skinny Everitt. Hope it wasn't premature.
If I can cross-reference the year of the jumper I'll let you know who it was.

5 Rohan H. Smith 300
Didn't Rohan Smith start off in no. 31 in about 1992? I'm sure I remember no. 31 and a shocking mullet in the Diamond Dogs (or whatever the 1992 version was called) video.
We know his 300th was his last game so he couldn't have played all 300 in no. 5.

AFL has him in 5 for 1992.

Not saying it's right, only that it's the official AFL version.

Nah it's from a Excel spreadsheet I got from CoonDog, that has tones of great doggie stats. Some however have been found to be wrong in the past tho, mainly the teams W/L/D record over the years.

For the record Grant played 341 games and Smith played 300.

Yeah, the point was how many they'd played in certain jumper numbers.
And that Lake and Eagleton are about to break the records in their jumper numbers.
