how Dermie said the hawks were trying to convince Westcoast to trade Judd for pick 2 in 04 to secure Buddy????
in hindsight... Westcoast are morons... and hawks were lucky it didnt eventuate!!!

I do not believe that all. In 04 Judd was a proven player, surely West Coast wouldnt have been stupid enough to even consider the prospect of trading Judd for an unproven player in Franklin.

Yeh it would have been Hay, Williams and probably Buddy for Judd! Thank god it didn't happen.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
The Eagles recruitment staff would have been hung and slaughtered by the locals if that trade had went through in 94.........4 years down the track they would probably all be rejoicing in the streets!
I actually doubt there was alot of truth to it, Dermie just trying to make his own headlines as per usual:thumbsd:
