Don't know about you but everyone is talking about the hawks v geelong match. Who will win? Will both teams be undefeated at the time? What crowd will they get if this is so? To be honest I don't give a rats about the Geelong game. I want to enjoy each game week by week. I don't want Round 17 to come because that means the end of the season is near. I say 'one week at a time'. Look forward to watching the boys run out for the tigers and couldn't care less who we are playing next week. Go Hawks and smash the tigers.:thumbsu:
Yeah true i want to enjoy the season aswell but the game against Geelong in round 17 will show us where we are at. Its a pity we dont get to play them earlier on in the year. I am really looking forward to the challenge.

The only reason why I am looking that far ahead to the Round 17 game is because I read about it everyday. I am sick of it to be honest. It is going to be a cracking match but it is only Round 6 after all.

I'm looking further ahead than that even.
So much so that I have delayed an overseas holiday until October....just in case.

Such a long time away, both the Hawks and the Handbaggers can slip out of, and back into form by then. Focus on getting to the finals - the higher the better, develop the players, stay free of injuries, maintain individual and team form etc etc. Theres just so many other things to worry about.
I wont be getting too excited by the outcome of the game either. I expect we will be seeing them regularly come finals time in years to come, and these these will be the games worth getting worried about. A good game, but a dead rubber in the bigger scheme of things.

No one's actually answered hawkstars questions though? If both teams are say 13/3 or 14/2 expect 85-90K if both teams are undefeated expect 95K, Peter Hudson has already labeled it the game of the decade and its been talked about for weeks already with the game still 14 weks away. The game will be huge and will be vital win/lose/draw for theboys experience going into finals, playing in front of big crowds with everybody watching. I'll be there and it will be huge. Go Hawks

Yes. Hawthorn Geelong Grand Final. It is a certainty. You can BS all you like about lids and whatnot, but if the Hawks and cats don't face off in the GF then it will be a huge upset.

And a disapointment.
