View Full Version : Luke Hodge or Chad Cornes
Forget how much of a tosser Chad is.
On field who would you pefer? Both Tough as nails utilities who clearly lead their side on the field. Forgetting personality who would you rather?
Chad.
Hodge gets hyped up as a play anywhere gun utility but he's a Forward Flank, Midfield & Back Flank player compared to Chad whose a Key Position & Midfield player.

For Richmond I would prefer Hodge because where a younger team
But if I had pick a premiership team now, I would choose Chad Cornes.
So therefore chad cornes for me

Chad. I thought he should have been closer in the Brownlow last year, he was unbelievable.
I rate Hodge very highly, but players like Chad are once in a blue moon

Good comment.
I picked chad cornes just for his ability to play anywhere i dont think that hodge has that ability compared with cornes.
IMO Hodge has played poorly this year compared with last year. Would hope he starts to play some better footy (he is in my dream team c'mon hodge!!)
Hodge is better. Chad Cornes is an average footballer who thinks he's a superstar. :)

Cornes is one of the best in the AFL. Far better than Hodge.

Cornes...has the ability in the air and in one-on-one contests as befits someone of his size, yet has the engine and skills of a small (talented) midfielder.

I know I'm biased but IMO Chad is the most valuable player in the AFL. Can play anywhere on the ground bar ruck and be one of the best in the AFL at that position.

I'll have to say Luke Hodge because I think he is better. :thumbsu::)
Both are very good players but Chad gets the vote for me, he can play CHF and CHB as well as all of Hodges positions. That makes him a better player in my eyes.

Cornes easily. Much tougher to match up on.
