Congrats to Eddie for this guys. A real credit to your club. Whilst my opinions swing from one extreme to the other with this guy, got to commend him for this.

Its actually McGuire not Maguire, but you are right.
At the game last week, I kept my eye on the umpire after that bounce to see his reaction to what was going to happen. You jst had a feeling a goal would result and as it sialed through, he bent over and basically said with his body language "NNOOOOOOO", you could tell he was distraught. He then quickly raced out of the centre.
Eddie is right. Cant blame the umpire for the loss.

If there's a bounce that doesn't give both ruckmen a chance to contest it, they should recall it and just throw the ball up. Simple.

Yeah I watched him too. You could tell by his demeanour he just wanted the MCG to open up and swallow him whole. He definitely wasn't going to be bouncing the next ball.
