Shane O'Bree has a right knee brace.

Maxwelll... again, stupid free kick and giving away a goal

To be fair, like the commentators said; there was nothing in that free kick.

Cook like hes getting a bit of it, but just as many clangers. Hopefully he settles.

Thought the free was criminal, cost 1 goal.
Lloyd hit post, cost 1 goal.
Playing all over them last 10 minutes.
Pendles good.
c'mon pies.

Well, we better not lose it from here.

Nah I think that "poster" was just an illusion.... I don't think it hit the post at all.

But agree about the maxwell freekick was criminal...

Have been sitting back reading about obree I am going to have to agree he has to go his disposal is absolutely criminal

Lloyd's goal did not hit the post.

Maxwell barely made contact with Laycock at all.

That wasn't a free kick, but Wakelin was holding Fletcher underneath the ball, so I didn't mind it being given(albeit to the wrong guy). Overall, we're getting a pretty good run with the umps, expect it to swing back the other way in the second.

Wellingham doesn't look out of place :thumbsu:

Medders will pin the ears back now. Has 5, could get 8.

I did. He's hardly been a superstar today, but has played ok. Still isn't exactly hitting people on the chest.

Our forward line works way better without the stationary target :thumbsu:, but we still need him against the tougher sides this year, the future might not be as bad as i thought it would be without rocca :D

I did, i'm not so sure I should be eating my words just yet, he played a good game today, hopefully he can keep it up.:thumbsu:

I wont. Against a decent midfield I don't think he's useful at all.

If we were up against a decent midfield they'd have applied more pressure and exposed his extreme one sided tendency.

He played well, but I still don't rate him too highly.

The best is yet to come with Jono, I will be very surprised if over the coming weeks you dont change your tune. He is getting better every game.

Agree with that - does show how cameras can cause optical illusions.

I'd be more than happy too.

But I really think when a decent amount of pressure is applied on him, he'll struggle. Against a midfield like Geelong he'd be pretty useless I think.

Anyone knocking O'Bree or Johnson is obviously "picking the eyes" out of what was a very good game from both.

The sheer number of actual clearances form both far outweighed any deficiencies in the disposal department.
Johnson had several very critical and accurate disposals and so did O'Bree.

Many, many times it was one of the two who extracted the ball from very congested packs....not hand passes or kicks but touches which advantaged the Pies. Small things which in the end made a huge difference. The little touchs we have not been getting in the last two games.

I though both were good.

I thought O'Bree was very good, and he was in my votes.

Johnson wasn't bad, but he had 1 clearance and 3 total contested possessions...he was hardly playing inside for most of the game.

O'Bree is useful, but it will fall in a heap very soon the right knee wont hold up for too much longer i suspect, since he cant kick with it.

Agree with that - does show how cameras can cause optical illusions.

Yet the commentators still insist they have a better view than the goal umpire who is DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH THE ____ING BALL!!!!!!!! This still pisses me off more than anything.
