GUNS N' ROSES To Tour Australia, Korea, Indonesia In September - Aug. 5, 2002
GUNS N' ROSES are due to perform in Australia in September 11-25, Korea on the 27th and Indonesia on the 29th, according to Indonesian promoter Tommy Pratama, who spoke to the local digital publication Detikcom about the group's touring plans for the fall, Allstar has reported.
Pratama told Detikcom that he's had to reschedule the concert three times, from September 7th to September 13th to the current date of September 29th, but he is optimistic the booking is now firm.
GUNS N' ROSES had already announced dates in Hong Kong, Japan, Belgium, and the U.K. from mid- to late-August.
Heard nothing about this and is only a month away, sounds like BS
i've always wondered about those 'GNFNR' t-shirts..
shouldnt it just be GnFR ? eg. guns n' f*ckin roses..
instead of guns n' f*ckin n' roses?

I think it should be called the W Axl Rose band now.....
Take me down to paradise city . . .
I would think about going. But probably wouldn't.
Still think Apettite for Destruction is one of the best.

I saw GnR in Hollywood in 1987 and thought they were boring then. I feel this tour, if it happens, would only have nostalgia value for diehard fans......but hey that's just my opinion.
And my opinion is that I'd rather read two hours of Seindud's posts than go to this gig.

I was gonna say that.. who is in the band now? Without at least Slash or Duff McKagan can Axl get away with calling his band GnR?
It's deceptive IMO.
Still spewing over the "Sweet" tour in '93.

AXL..and whoever else he hasn't had a tantrum against that week.
Guitarist "BucketHead" (I kid you not) quit recently, I think the only SOMEWHAT G'N'R member that still may be around is that shortlived keyboardist Dizzy Reed.
Other than that it's tantrum boy & some LA hacks!

I f***ing hate that. When is a band not a band?
Sometimes a band from day one is someone who puts together session musicians and thats cool, but GnR are one of many bands are noted for the other members as well as Axl. Perhaps he should just go away. One things for sure they wont be selling 80000 tickets again. If everyone works him out then he'd barely manage to sell a pub tour.
Back the Sweet reference, I remember on the Late Show where they took the ****. "Hey it's the guitarist from the Sweet and this time he's bought some fat mates with him and someone he met at the airport!".. about sums it up.

I read in 'Beat' (weekly street music newspaper) that Gn'R was releasing Chinese Democracy....ain't seen nothing yet.
Like Ewok says, the tour is a wipeout. Axl sounds like a wipeout.
