Who would you rather have playing for your team NOW and in the future?
Where's the Neither option? :)

Where's the Neither option? :)I think it's hidden with all those wooden spoons in Carlton's cabinet.
Stupid poll to inflate your ego.
At the time of the Tarrant trade Medhurst was a dud and lucky to be on a list let alone put in for a trade, while Farmer was flying and playing good football.
Alot has happened in between then and up until 6 games ago Farmer would have still been the better player, but under a good coach Medhurst has come good, still will need to perform for the rest of the season and his career though, as Farmer has been a damn good player.

Medhurst was never a dud - He was woefully coached and utilized at Fremantle. That said, you couldn't say for sure that Farmer might have had a similar turn-around in fortune if he went to a club with a decent culture and coach. Unfortunately, I think it's pretty undeniable that Freo's culture is in the toilet.
What is also undeniable is that they were full of rubbish when they were saying that Farmer and Medhurst couldn't fit in the same forward line, given that Medhurst is always sharing the forward line with 2/3 of Didak, Davis and Thomas.
Casting him aside as though he was worthless was right up there with the dud moves of Freo trading.

fremantle never ever said that
infact it was numbnuts commetti who kept pushing this theory and others started to follow
he was poorly coached by CC and he wasn't the only one. I think he would have been a better player under harveys guidence

And a complete and utter wart on the arse of the AFL publically at the same time. He's a dirty little dog and really undermines the values of the AFL.

Medhurst his keeping Rocca in a job has leading forward no ones waking it up to it yet the brisbane game last qtr medhurst leading forward north last week after half time leading forward same thing against Essendon very quick on the lead great hands good luck to him.
A bit un fair on Farmer as he is 30-31 now in the final stages of his career, where as Medhurst 25 is entering the Prime stage of his career.

The point is Freo clearly made the decision that Farmer would be better value than Medhurst and let Medhurst go, it is being shown they made the wrong decision. Medhurst will be better value than Farmer from now on.
Knowing that Medhurst was five years younger than Farmer shows it was even more of a stupid decision!

Medhurst is clearly better than Farmer.
I'd say Farmer is close to hanging up the boots, he's nearly 31 and certainly seems to have lost a lot of that brilliance that made him a drawcard to the games for so many years. Medhurst in a canter.
