Are you joking? lol. Judd is the best player in the AFL by miles. Selwood is a poor-mans Marc Murphy. You really need to start watching some footy. What's next - Dew V Judd? :)

joel is a very mature young player with a great football brain, nice skills, good hands, good lateral movement, can kick a goal, good inside player, good outside player, tough, overhead mark
judd is all those except tough, young, and overhead mark, but he has speed.

the fact that selwood is winning this poll, buries a lot of this site's credibility into the ground.

i did say judd can do it inside and out didn't i? i did. not a good overhead mark even for a midfielder, mcveigh went forward in the game against carlton and took a mark against him, mcveigh would have to be at least 6cm shorter than juddy. So no.

I can't believe this is so close. Judd may be a little below his normal output currently, but he's still returning from injury. I think the negativity associated with his move to Melbourne has altered people's perceptions about him.
Whilst I'm not a great fan of Judd as a person, he's clearly the pick of the two. Basing a choice on the fact Selwood is younger is ridiculous. Sure, Selwood has the potential to be a star, but why take the potential when you can have the reality, the player who is already a star.

selwood is a very good player but you have to agree that being in such a good team makes him look better than he may be. Where judd has been the best player in a premiership team and still performed.

selwood is a very good player but you have to agree that being in such a good team makes him look better than he may be. Where judd has been the best player in a premiership team and still performed.
Poor argument. When we were getting spanked by Freo, Selwood was the player who lifted our team to win.

Has to be Judd, Selwood is a great player, but he isn't Chris Judd. I'd take proven ability over potential anyday.
its stating the bleeding obvious that Judds better than every other midfielder in the competition.
as good as selwood will be Judd will always have been better. His physical attributes and football ability are a cog above the next.
as far as the best footballers go in the AFL at this current moment - its not Judd. Buddy Franklin gets the nod. His physical attributes combinded with natural talent he is streaks ahead of the rest.
