I think its almost at the point where it is a joke valenti isnt making our side.
I watched him yesterday and the guy is a freak. Had 28 pos and kicked afew goals.
He should play every game for the rest of the year.

Hopefully maric can also get a game ( looked very good aswell)
warnock looked good, why take our extra defender out, take out a shit defender thats old and keep warnock in, i know wheatley... he is shit and bring whelan in, we miss him :)

I don't reckon we're a chance to go the 1992 Brisbane vs North game that drew a whopping 6396, but 10 or 11k is a massive possibility. Be there for history!

That 6300 was at the MCG by the way. I don't think anyone will manage to top the four crowds under 5k that the Bears managed to draw at Carrara in '92 - topped by a classic 3,059 against Footscray.

I'm planning on turning up at 2:05pm and having the whole Southern Stand to myself.

As for changes, get Bate, Whelan and Valenti in. Drop Morton, Dunn and one one of Wheatley or Bell.

normally can't get to sunday games kose of footy but we have a bye this week so i'll head on down.

I don't think that they can ignore valenti any more. and maybe they should bring maric in aswell.

Freo used that tactic at times last year with Gilmore when Sandilands was out injured. I think you probably do have to have a designated player to stand on the circle supposed to be contesting the ruck knock, but there's no rule to say it must be a ruckman.

I think we have two options, the first is to bring in Bate and Valenti with Wheatley and Morton making way, Wheatley needs practice hitting targets, Morton could do with stepping back a grade and getting more footy, that said if he needs a rest he gets a week off in a couple of weeks (vics game). That is if Bailey thinks the whole list is struggling. If he needs to give a rocket to the players then I'd add experience in Yze and Holland at the expence of the underperforming Robertson and Bell.

Out: Wheatley, Morton, Bell, Robertson

I think the reality is that at the moment we have about 30 blokes who can all play and there isn't much difference between them besides probably McLean, Green, Jones and White who are in good form. However they are really struggling to put it together. So either we stick with the same team for a few weeks or try and change it round hoping something will work and getting experience into a few players.

I hope we bring Maric in i liked the look of him on the weekend, And we could use another small forward(especially when Davey does nothing) and he can also play in the midfield, wich is very handy because we could use some pace in there....And he uses the ball very well.:thumbsu:

And if Valenti doesn't get promoted and come into the team then there is something wrong with Bailey.....

I agree re Warnock - he needs some more game time - I was never a fan but after seeing him on the weekend I thought he did ok.

I'd start Bate at Full Forward because I think Miller is best suited to the roaming half forward role.

Rate that as a pretty good team, but i wouldnt drop dunn. You can't complain when a player isn't playing well when he never gets more then 15 minutes in the same spot. I'd get rid of Warnock.

How you have Warnock at full back astounds me, give frawley another go at FB, rivers on pavlich. warnock would have to be the most half-rate player on our list and that includes Jamar, amongst others.

I've recently decided that melbourne only ever contracted warnock at mature age to try to lure his little brother back to melbourne, he is a sandy boy after all. If melbourne do manage to get younger warnock, matt will get a 1 year deal, then gone.

I don't think we should drop young Bell. We should persist with the lad because when in full flight he's easily in our best back 6 and is capable of a run through the middle. It's not as though we've got anything to lose if we keep playing him. You'd get rid of Warnock *cries* before you'd get rid of Bell.

I swear if Ben Johnson ruined his career I'll be spitting chips!

Warnock looks like he is in good condition, has a decent leap and is willing to do the required 1%ers as a defender. Wouldn't mind seeing him play more and if he can't cut it then at lease we actually gave him a proper go. He's 24 this year so why not try him a bit more?

Maybe Carroll should head down to Beach Rd for a bit. Carroll hasn't been that bad IMO, but we know what he is capable of by now. In fact I reckon the defence has been pretty good all things considered.

We need to know about Warnock as a key defender now! Chip could be anything yet & don't want to see him Dawsoned either, let the kid play.
