... the following items are not, and never shall be, newsworthy and should be removed from your running orders immediately:

- celebrity weddings, divorces and/or promotional appearances
- cross-promotions for your channel's other crappy shows (blatant or otherwise)
- anything involving the phrase "fashion week"

My TV thanks you in advance for removing these things that might encourage me to put my fist through it.

Its better than reporting on wars in some country we cant even pronounce.

Oh you can also add logie nominaions to the list (although it probably comes under cross promotion because they only mention the ones from their channel)

"an appeal to lift an injuction placed on the Nine Network's blockbuster new series Underbelly..."

unbiased reporting would be nice

also watched sbs news on sunday night. the guy who did the game wraps spoke in short sentences i.e.

swans score a goal.
then north melbourne hit back.
scores were level.
some good work lead to this goal.

What's wrong with fashion week?

So's weather, but the chicks are more attractive than a time lapse replay of the day.

Let's get this man on all channels:

I didnt watch the news on SBS but that may be Craig Foster, someone who is hardly the sharpest tool in the shed.

I don't like SBS's new style. Clearly someone (probably some hack ex-company CEO high up) has decided there needs to be at least one "soft" story every broadcast (usually the last story). It's lame :thumbsd:

That is why the still quite delectable Mary Kostikidis left SBS because Stan Grant made the news more tabloid. High morals from the gracefully aging Greek Godess.

Yes, I found that interesting. Sounded weird, plus he had a lisp.

I only watch SBS news because they cover in more detail events around the world I want to know about, where as the commercial stations give them a quick mention and then move onto the latest Big Brother controversy.

In saying that how is Stan Grants tan!! mate stay out of the solarium for a while.

Oh, and another:

- any poll conducted by a TV program, newspaper or magazine regarding what is the "hottest", "sexiest", "most interesting" or "best" of anything.

ABC and SBS are almost as bad as the commercials for celeb goss, fashion week, etc; but at least don't treat game shows as news, a la Ten (and virtually every newspaper in the nation) with BB and Idol.
