Luke Hodge has been accused of deliberate kneeing, in an attempt to 'cork' his opponents. Shouldn't come as a shock to anyone, as he has shown he has no problem performing consistent dog acts on the field. Not sure which Richmond player's head he had in a leglock the other day, can anyone remind me? Stuff like this wouldn't be so bad, except that he is also one of the worst divers in the comp, constantly playing for free kicks in the forward line.

Mithcell as well, which is a bit odd as he hasn't struck me as the low-down dirty type, like Hodge is.

Appropriate title. Why am I not surprised that it was a Geelong supporter who started the thread. It's a beat up. Mike had a column to write and nothing to say so he rang his mole in the umpiring dept. Still ended up with nothing to say.

'Dockers coach Mark Harvey eluded to treatment of a similar kind from Geelong on Carr during the game.'

Seems to be common place. Only problem here is who at Geelong provided 'executive relief' to Sheahan so he didn't name their players.

The question that has to be asked and why us freo faithfull are pissed off is:

How come Carr has been sighted and not Hodge????

How come Dodd was sighted for tripping then the next week Burton do's the same thing if not worse and nothing???

Seems to me there is 2 sets of rules at the MRP 1 for stars and 1 for the lesser likes.

No doubt Hawthorn are applying for an injunction on this (what they will claim) 'unfounded' nonsense.

Seems the best way of dealing with controversy for some clubs...

Harvey has been whinging about anything and everything after we beat them. Trying to cover up for his own sniper is all that is.

Luke Power and Leigh Matthews I would take much more seriously. Leigh wouldn't speak to Gieschen for no reason.

It was a obscure simpsons reference that I though you were using. My bad:o

Bart and Milhouse are debating religion and the existance of a soul and Milhouse asks why would they lie about it, what did they have to gain, the scene then cuts to reverend lovejoy put the money from the collection plate into a money counter.

So in response to your question why would Sheehan lie. it's because his lies make money

Luke Hodge and Sam Mitchell havent been trying to cork players knees. The accusation was probably from someone who feared playing the Hawks because they are unstoppable at the moment. I wouldnt be surprised if it was the same person who accused the Hawks of using illegal tactics a while ago. Hodge and Mitch are 2 of the most dominant players in the game and they were both accused of practising it before the Brisbane game. BS in my opinion, if someone had seen it, it wouldve been mentioned straight after the game not 2 weeks after the game!
LunchladyDorris, get over it. Its not true and you know it. Mitch and Hodge are better than you think, you dont like them because they are wearing the brown and gold! If they were Geelong players you would love them. Mitch for the brownlow!

Was a pity we were too busy concentrating on going the man than playing the ball in the first quarter. Cost us dearly, as we were playing catch-up after that.

What's more amazing is that Hawthorn didn't learn the lesson that going the man isn't the way to go about things. They learnt the hard way in last year's semi final though.
