Another strong performance tonight from both.
Bachar was the leading disposal getter for the Dons tonight i think.
I reckon their a chance for a top 5, with Mcveigh, Hille and Lloyd probably getting ahead of them.
What do you guys reckon?

Ryder is a big shot for it the way he is playing no doubt. Houli is up there as well, just not sure if he's been better than Ryder.
What Houli has in his favour is he's been pretty consistant which is handy in our B&F

I'd still have my money on McVeigh to take it out oce he comes back. Houli and Ryder will be right up there I'd imagine, both in top 5 B&F form atm. This in itself will be a huge achievement, especially for Houli who has only played a handful of games and only in his 2nd year.
But yeh McVeigh for mine.
Ryder most definately, Bachar could be a bit of a roughy though I guess.

Thinking about who has a chance is like Bathurst last man standing. Watson will do ok. Bachars decision making tonight was average who kicks across ground to a contest and not only a contest a 2 vs 1 Ports way. Would be great to see him do well in the b and f.

Houli has been getting plenty of it but didn't use it well tonight. Ryder is, or atleast will be, a star! he has a massive vertical leap; did very well in the ruck tonight. He takes a good specky and a good contested grab (like the one in the 3rd quarter i think; he came from 3 deep against big bodied Port players and took a strong mark, although it wasn't paid) and his set shots are great. He seems to be able to play everywhere, just until he gets tired as he seemed to tonight. If he builds a bigger tank he could be our stand out player in a few years. Captain material? maybe
Back to your question...Houli i think definitely top 10 at this stage although again he can waste the ball too much...Ryder would have to be top 5, if not leading it.
If McVeigh has a full season when he comes back and Ryder continues to be consistent, it will be very close between these two at the end i think!
They both are playing well, but i don't think either will win. I think McVeigh will win it. Ryder will get top 10

Will that be the first time he has won it?

If he does win it then yes it will be, and unless McPhee or Fletch get up to win it this year we will have a new Crichton Medallist.

Bachar would be up the top of the leaderboard now but I don't think he will be able to keep this form for the rest of the season so McVeigh will take over and win. Houli has done great this season. He is only a 2nd year player. He's gonna be an absolute gun!
Ryder will play consistent footy for the rest of the season but I don't think he will win it. Whilst he has been great down back Fletch has been awesome and I think he will come 2nd.
