View Full Version : Buddy Reporters Should Interview Players

Would it be an impossible ask to get BF buddy reporters and their players together for 30 minutes at some point during the year? Then we'd actually have something to write about.

If the reporters could have one interview it would generate interest and accurate information. I've heard it alleged that some buddy reporters even make things up! It's outrageous, I know, and any such reporters should be hounded off this much-esteemed forum. But that's what we're up against when there's an information vacuum.

Collingwood's media people could approve a standard set of questions, and reporters could agree not to stray beyond those confines. Obviously the players' private lives would be a no-go area. Unless Josh volunteered the date of his wedding, for example.

Would any buddy reporters be interested? Or would it spoil some vast, eternal plan if we actually interviewed the players?

I would love to do it, but I don't think that the club would volunteer the player's time :(

Probably not. But Pie Eyed and Pongo are going to have a crack at seeing if they can't get some kind of response. Nothing to lose....
