Anyone know why Collingwood are broadcast on the ABC every 2nd week?

i understand they play most of their games on saturdays, but they've had other games played on saturdays in the VFL which they could broadcast... today the other games were in tasmania and at the G, so it makes sense, but i'm pretty sure this is the 4th time i've seen them play this season...

i'm sick of watching their mediocre side running around every week... would the decision on which game to show be made by the ABC or the VFL..? please let us watch someone else...

I don't think it's fair that some clubs get one home game on TV, but others get more than one.

Must admit I've noticed that myself.
Obviously the match at York Park yesterday was a curtain raiser to the Hawthorn - Port Adelaide game, therefore started early and perhaps there may have been an issue in regard to broadcasters as it was on telly. Not shown here though.
Would've been awesome to watch the Hogs being belted 152-points! :p
Same deal at the G. But yeah, in other weeks they seem to be avoiding the other clubs.

On a side note, was great to see the half-time package with Phil Cleary of the Tasmania v SA game at North Hobart in 1966.
Quite a few of my family would've been at that game perched up in the back of the main Horrie Gorringe Stand, a huge crowd jammed in there.
Tell ya what that place hasn't changed a bit since that footage was shot

I think they only have one more for the rest of the season.

yes, but the match is scheduled as a 1pm start for the purposes of television... any saturday match bar curtain raisers for afl games could be scheduled for a 1pm start...
