Potential banner of the week
A win does wonders for morale at any club, also for supporters. There have been reports of a traffic jam on the Western Highway this week as Melbourne supporters make the long trek to AAMI Stadium for Sunday’s clash with Adelaide.
Among the convoy is the Melbourne cheer squad – we believe armed with one of the biggest banners seen in AFL history – which gives a special mention to round seven NAB AFL Rising Star nomination Austin Wonaeamirri.
Look out Crows cos we’re on a roll
The Demons are gonna give you hell
Robbo, White, Bruce and Davey,
And that guy whose last name we can’t spell
On a roll? 1 win?
On a roll? 1 win?
Scared?

Do you think their banner is going to pessimistic or something???
Scared?
Not really.
Just think it's funny that they lose 6 and when they win one they are suddenly "on a roll".

No, but "We've got a win now" or "We've got started" would have been more accurate, they aren't on a roll.

Well, we didn't lose last week so we are undefeated in the past 2 weeks ;)

Hi Nick.
Thanks for the thread.
I was deeply impressed by the amount of thought that went into it.
More widely, some other posters have been generous enough to befriend me, but I really need an Adelaide-based Bay 13-er to serve as my West Horsham correspondent.
So, if you are feeling benevolent, can I please have a West Horsham update?
We both know that poor old West Horsham will never secure an Olympic Games, the Commonwealth Games or events of a similar calibre.
Here is another question please: what with the Mitsubishi Factory being mothballed, are there still enough people left in West Horsham to stage a B & S Ball, to say nothing of there being a degree of genetic diversity amongst the participants?

Not a problem, there should be enough for you to find someone. You may even get lucky, I guess then you would be 'on a roll' sexually speaking.
