____ off and support Collingwood.
Seriously, I'm sick of our own "supporters" always finding the negative in every game. It mostly happens with the lamers online that don't actually manage to get to a game, but there's usually at least one encounter at the ground every week with someone who loves to talk about how shithouse one (or more) of our players is. Seriously, f*** off and "support" another team. Supporters like you don't deserve to ever see another premiership.
Yes, I'm drunk but I've had enough of whiny complaining bitches. It was understandable when the team was going backwards, but now we are obviously moving forward and it still doesn't stop. If you can't find the positives in our performances so far this season, then it is only because every single man on the Richmond list has a bigger penis than you and for some reason, that bothers you.
We just played a team that won last year's grand final by a million points. We finished dead last. Today we were their match for three out of four quarters. What the hell do you people expect? GODDOFJNJSDfasasasdfkjl
I might be part of the "Negative nancies" group this week because simply I am pissed off. The Tigers royally shanked the 2nd half and that right there is a negative. They were going brilliant until half time....
I am not a negative person, but a 30 point loss in the rain after the first half is absolutely ridiculous. They have shown they can run out 4 quarters of football over the last 4 weeks, they had an extra week off and they still ran out of legs?
Yep ... our last month has been fantastic , some real signs that our side is coming together..
Ran Geelong hard for three quarters today ... the reigning premier who has won 26 of thier last 27 games .... we did what all young sides do and that is we could not sustain it for 4 quarters . just over 12 months ago that side beat us by 150 points.
So lets all get on here starting threads about how shit we are

This needs to be looked into.

Young players will always struggle to run out four quarters of footyFair comment.
Anyone that comes on here saying we havent improved over the past month enjoys way too much slagging the club off.
We are a totally different team playing a tougher brand of footy since the Pies smashed us.
We caught the Cats on the back foot but werent able to lift another gear when they did after half time.
The Cats will beat a lot of teams by a lot more points this year.

So you havent seen any improvement in the side what so ever ? I think you will find that is what IDGAF is refering too, not so much the losses and a draw we have had.
I tell you what if we continued to dish up the crap we got given in that collingwood game over the past 4 weeks, Terry wouldnt have a job right now. We have improved but unfortunately the results are not showing.
Has nothing to do with a loser's mentality, trust me your grouping the wrong set of cards on this one. ;)

That doesn't mean I haven't seen any improvement but I disagree the last month has been fantastic.

Fair enough, but I think the signs have been fantastic, the past months results have been disappointing.
I'm disappointed that our players are not getting rewarded for their good footy.

Basically we had one quarter that was as bad as the first game against them last season. We won the other three quarters. I'm not thrilled about it, but I can't see how anyone could expect us to do much better than we did today.

I think both teams were dead on their feat in the last quarter and we managed to outscore them. Today we threw everything at them in the first half and then just switched off in the third, which you can't do against Geelong. Mostly this year our third quarters have been pretty good, but we couldn't even get our hands on the ball in the third today. Not so much a fitness thing as a young side not being able to keep up that high level of intensity for 4 quarters.

It's always easy to find negatives if you want fellas but here are some facts...
We have had arguably the toughest draw YTD
We have certainly had the toughest last 4 weeks (played the 3 teams sitting at 1,2 & 3 as well as the Saints
In these last 4 games we have had a draw which we could have easily won, and losses by 4, 12 & 30 points
We are generally playing an attacking & attractive brand of footy with a very young team
& today we saw the next big thing at Tigerland in Trent Cotchen
As frustrated as I am that we have only picked up 2 premiership points over the last 4 weeks I am also so bloody excited in our future that I can't wait until next week.
Get on board Tigers!

Hey Runga,
____ off and support the TeleTubbies, you clown.
They live in a land of make believe too.
Football club's results are judged by wins. No more.....NOTHING LESS.
A team's ladder position is allocated by it's win's.
You don't move forward and up pal unless you win games.
Piss off to Detox and sober up you idiot, cause you're whingeing as well.
Sobering up might help you see the reality of our club.
So far, we've done nothing but gotten close to teams having average games.
Your beer goggles have made you believe your hopes are actually happening. Beer does that to some.
Now have a good lie down.
There's two of the keyboard heroes right there. Gutless, the pair of you. Typical fair weather fans.
It's the easy way out to bag a club.

Should get reward for our effort in the next few weeks - we've had a tough month. If we'd been outscored by a goal a quarter by the Cats the negative people would probably have been more accepting of the loss, even though the margin would have been about the same. Yes, it's disappointing to surrender a 20 point lead but let's be realistic. With you Roachy8.

LMAO - Courageous and well thought out retort.
You inspire............urself.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to you when Richmond becomes one of the elite teams in the competition.
Will you:
a) bag the team anyway.
b) start a new Big Footy account and pretend you've been a loyal supporter from the beginning
c) switch to another club
d) kill yourself
My guess is a) but I've got my fingers crossed for d).

I am all for positives about the team, I try and not contribute negative posts about the club on here, but it was a completely different team after half time. I know that happens in football, but they just came out looking weak, and it really did frustrate me that even though I did not expect a win come from last night, I expected them to push in that third quarter, as they had got themselves in a winning position.
I am proud of the boys for the season we are having, they are on their way up, just those little opportunities like we had on Saturday that we have a chance of winning they have to take.

Some of us take the time - often wasted - to post comments on here because there is still this reigning attitude of absolute shite coming from all the loyal idiots who want to believe the club is going forward and believe so merely by virtue of citing every bloody excuse in the book including everyone's favourite this year: how we've had a tough draw. Blah, blah, blah.
If wins are all that counts (and yes they are) we have two; against Carlton (awful) and Freo (useless). In the games we have recently played we have been in a winning position in most of them, which (NOW PAY ATTENTION) has absolutely nothing to do with the draw or how good the bloody opposition is. A team is no good if it can't win. Simple.
Until we rid this club's culture of the losing mentality by demanding more than close results nothing will change.
If we are indeed improving like so many of you have deluded yourselves (just because we haven't been beaten by an humiliating 150 points yet) let's recount how we should have beaten St. Kilda who are woeful, finished off the Dogs who we choked against worse than Port Power could ever try to muster, and should have run the reigning Premier all the way because:
a) it was a home game (ie not at Shell Stadium)
b) it was played in torrential rain (diminishing their perceived superior skills)
c) half their team played the week before
d) Geelong started as poorly as they have in the past two years.
A better football team would have risen to the challenge. When are we going to see this start to happen? Get back to me when we win.

You are happy with 27 years without a premiership? The tigers have the most loyal bunch of supporters you will meet. Of course after that long people are getting annoyed with the lack of success. We are on our way up, we are, but you cannot call a tiger fan a sissy. That is pathetic.

what a load of crap
The one thing most of you people accusing the people that are disappointed with after the weekend are missing is that it was pretty much a 50 point turn around in a half (and a bit) of football, in horrible weather. I do not really care what team it is that the tigers were playing, in that weather and being up at half time it should not have ended with us losing by 30 points.
LMAOOOO @ Rodger Dodger and PLSC
Should find them a quiet room so they can root each other then they spend the next 4 hours telling each other how schit it was
LMAOOOO @ Rodger Dodger and PLSC

Now thats funny!
I love watching my club play each and every week and have mostly enjoyed watching the past 4 weeks.
My only negative comments is that our Top 6 senior players are not elite (with the exception of Richo).
Someone mentioned something about young players unable to run out 4 qtrs. What happened to Troy Simmonds? Is he turning 20 for the 10th time this year?
I just hope that in 2 or 3 years time the likes of Lids, Bling, Cotch, Edward and Riewoldt can join Foley as truly elite players in the AFL.
One of the main reasons Wallace picked us to peak in 2011 is because Brown (partly due to injury), Simmonds, Johnston, Pettifer, Tivendale, Bowden and now McMahon are not even close to elite players in the AFL.
It is holding us back.
