Does Johnson need a brake for a week or 2?? not playing as good as he can at the moment

Connors is no where near fit enough. He can only last a half of footy at Coburg before he is spent.

Bleed Collins, let Conners build his fitness until the middle of the year

Wasn't Connors dropped to Conurg 2s about a fortnight ago because he had poor form? I think he is a long way off especially as his pre-season was interrupted with that Foot injury and his moon boot.

Johnson has been great and how often do captains get dropped? I hate it when fans post rubbish like that.

dunno much about connors, but from what i have seen he seems to have many foley-like aspects in his game and could become a very damaging midfielder.

no disrespect but connors is nothing like foley
not quick or an athlete just a footballer with good skills and knows hot to play the game
watched the coburg game and thought collins did some good things

I thought he looked pretty good out there on Saturday given the conditions he worked really hard all day and was doing a lot of the team things, I reckon he should be called up

Went off late holding his arm. Maybe just a stinger...

Didn't look too compelling to me. Tivendale was far better.

Conners reminds me a bit of Stuart Dew. If he gets his sh*t together...could be an extremely handy player for us.

Don't think he is ready for seniors yet, but there is plenty of time.

Yeah. Let's drop our captain who has proved the critics wrong so far this year, is 10th in the AFL for disposals, leads the Tigers in tackles and would be coming second in our best and fairest. COOL.

Better yet, let's go with the preferred method of judging player performances by half the braindead sheep on this board - not actually watching the games and drawing all our conclusions from just reading stats...therefore becoming even more like dumbarse Yank sporting fans...hell maybe I should join the trend and even pick an NBA or NFL franchise as my "other team" as well...now...where's my Hot Dog and my Bud Lite, Dude , I don't wanna miss them dang cheergirls again...YEW ESS AYY!!! YEW ESS AYY!!! WOOOOO!!!! COOL!!!! :o

Would Sugar's 2 metre OOF kick have helped keep him in the top 10?

Oh shit, you're right. He did a bad kick. Drop the maggot! I'm sorry for being aggressive but I'm just so sick of people bagging the man, it's baseless.

look he loves the tiges, he has put in strongly, he has been a good run with player and he does get possies. but I am sure most articulate commentators around would rate his disposal poorly. he probably would as well. when he makes a blue he really does make a bad one. he does provide some hard at it leadership though

Getting back on topic, Connors just isn't ready to return to AFL at the moment. He should be setting himself to play the last 8 games or so. He spent most of the pre-season with a moon boot on, so he was even more behind the 8-ball when it came to fitness.

He'll be fine though. Next year, watch out.
