Looked terrible, however, I believe the contact to head was accidental.

Cornes turned his head, and it would have been very tough for Benny to pull up from crashing into Cornes.

How the F does it look terrible ? Are guys supposed to tip toe around the ground in case they have to bend down to lay a bump or a tackle - how can a guy running full pelt be able to do anything more/less than benny did ...
Soon we'll start to call AFL "dancing on ice" because of the fact that players are being asked to tip toe around and soften the game so much i rather poke my eyes out

Happy Crawf isn't contesting.
Get's a week off against Melbourne, and will now get to play his 300th at home instead of in the west.

I believe when Bennie lined him up it was for a fair side bump, but Cornes went down thus the head contact. Let's hope Cornes supports Ben as Mitch is helping Burgoyne with his comments. If witnesses are called both should at least get reduced sentences. Hall got 7, is it fair that they get 3?

I was at the game and was watching Mclgynn charge... all he wanted to do was run as fast as he could towards the ball and smash Kane as hard as he could.
His timing was off (arrived too late at the contest)... i dont believe in the 3 weeks, but maybe 1.

Glenn Archer on Footy Classified said Benny should contest the charge... seemed more accidential than deliberate.
