Well, unless Crawf belts McPhee in Round 11, Crawf's 300th is set to be against the Roos at the MCG.

Could it be set any better? :thumbsu:

Firstly, who will be heading to the MCG to see this special match?

Secondly, how many people do you think will turn up to see this match?

For a usual match against the Roos, we'd be lucky to get 40k, but considering the special occassion, perhaps we can expect 45-50k?

Perfect game for the occasion.
Pratt the f@#%wit will probably come out and say he will spoil it for him.
Let's hope we enjoy a HUGE win on the day for the great man!

I'll be there for sure, this guy has been fantastic for the club and deserves all the support we can give him. I say all supporters should spread the word, SEN, 3AW, ABC, 927,...to those who think he is letting the club down, GET OVER IT!!!!!! He did all of us a HUGE favor cos now WE CAN ALL CELEBRATE this SENSATIONAL MILESTONE at home, THE MCG. Personally I think there will be close to 70k because the ROOS are still travelling well and we are FLYING..& They want revenge for the first encounter... Go the Hawks!!!!:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

well it may be any of the 3 games we have in a row at the G, thats the best outcome, but wouldn't bank on it being vs North just yet. I don't think Crawf is actually fit at the moment and wouldn't have played this week suspended or not.

Vs West Coast on Friday Night the week after?

I'm not complaining, but I think we'll draw 50k to that anyway because it's a Fri night ...

I'll be there. Behind the goals, or in M10 as usual. Hope we get a big turn out and a huge win for Crawf.

Been thinking about it for a while. If I cant get down to Melb for the weekend, where do the Sydney guys meet for an milestone game such as this?

Was thinking of making the pilgrimage when Kennedy gets start as well.

Its a matter of respect.

If Crawf does get his 300th in Melbourne, Hawk fans will be out in force to watch him get his milestone.

I would personally be upset with anything less than 50k For Crawf no matter who we play.

Would love for him to play his 300th game against North. What a heated game that would be

LOL the roos supporters have a habit to not turn up to any of their matches, wouldn't be suprised if 80% of the crowd is wearing the brown and gold.

I'll be there definitely. A mate of mine (Kangas) is heading down from Albury for it.

I reckon Salmon's 300th was pretty big. Pity we got pumped by 12 goals though:mad:

Just a question of trivia knowledge. Who was the last Hawk to get 300 games? (For the one club, not Salmon sorry.)
I don't know the answer, I was hoping someone did.

Langers got to 300 in 97 and his final game against the bullies at waverly that year too.

Bunghole's final game in 98 was very emotional. 45000 at waverly against the dockers if memory serves..

I was only a young fella back in 97 but I think I went to Langfords last game, I am just wondering at that game was there a custom song made for Langford that the team ran out with? Or it was played after the match? Or was my old man feeding me some beers that game?

The first thing I realised when I heard that Shane had been suspended for 1 week was that his 300th will be played at the G against North Melbourne, fantastic! I was very pissed off looking at the fixture and seeing that his 300th would be played in Adelaide before the suspension. Can't wait, I will defenetly be there for the great man!
