Hi Guys,
Sorry to hijack your board, I'm just after some info regarding a couple of Sydney players who I have in my team in a fantasy footy competition. (one where each player in the league can only be in one team, drafts, trades etc.)

Just wondering where the following players are at currently and when they're going to be getting another senior game, if at all:

Ben Matthews
Nic Fosdike
Jared Crouch
Brett Meredith (I know he's young and hasn't play at all yet, but any info on him would be great)
I also have Jarrad McVeigh in the team and obviously he's had an awesome year so far, looking to be developing into a very good midfielder.

Benny & Nick are currently playing in our reserves team
Fosdike has been out with injury but should slot back into the team in the next few weeks

Brett is out with injury waiting to make the team aswell

placing players in the 22 is hard atm due to not many injuries and a good team so far

someone will give a better view on this but thats what i know

Seriously....

Matthews....will only get a game if injuries hit hard and they try and let him get his 200 games up. Really doubt you'll see him again.

Fosdike....Been back from injury in the 2's for the last 3 games. Should be pushing for a spot shortly, but not a sure thing at this stage.

Crouch....yet to play a game at any level and seriously doubt he'll see any action in the seniors again.

Meredith....Still out long term and would be next to no chance to play seniors this year.

Not at all.

I doubt Crouch or Matthews will get a game this year barring injuries. Matthews played one game against the Dogs but didn't show much. Legends around the club but I can't see them getting a gig above the herd of youngsters we have coming through.

I expect Fosdike to be back in the next 2-3 weeks. Again he will face pretty stiff competition from the young'uns, but he should go alright once he gets the go ahead.

No idea about Meredith, I'll let one of the Reserves devotees fill you in.

Thanks heaps guys. I don't actually know a great deal about Meredith so that's cool.

Looks like I'll consider delisting Crouch from my team and Matthews not to far behind him. Cheers! :thumbsu:

Really struggling to believe that anyone would have Mathews and Crouch in their DT. I'm not having a go at you, I'm just waiting for the shock to subside.

The only one that you could get some value out of this season, is Fosdike. He's bound to get a game soon and knows how to get his hands on the pill.

He said that the comp he is in only allows each AFL player to play in one person's DT. Meaning he probably got stuck with Crouchie and co instead of happily selecting them.

Yeah, it's a competition that has been running for about 5 years now and I inherited the list midway through last year. There are 14 teams with 44 listed players each, rookie listed players are included on the senior lists. So yeah got stuck with them originally... not for much longer though!
