I have 2, and have had 2 since I was 10yo. Nick "Dutchy" Holland was a brilliant player when fit.

Bought a brand new little jersey for my 20 month old at Waverley, prior to the Collingwood game.

Was very tempted to go the #23, but got the #30 for him. Go Brownie:thumbsu:

Bought my 6 year old daughter a guernsey with the number 23 at Knox City on Thursday. Ended up at the AFL store after ringing several stores to get her size. She also has the name Buddy emblazed on the back. She is stocked and has started paying attention to the tv whenever the great man does his stuff.

My wife got me one of the woolen ones with 3 on the back knowing I liked Lewis and Hodgie. I'm planning on getting a match day one with 15, and after I bought her a membership so she could sit with me at the Lions game she wants one with 2 on it, I think she feels a bit sorry for the big ranga because Franko gets all the attention.

No room for a number - too many signatures lol

Basically the entire white part on the back of my jersey is filled with every player on the list, coaches and presidents signature :thumbsu:

Want to buy a new one with the number 33 but worried Cyril will change jumpers at some stage :(

Growing up during the 80s I had the great No.23 which is still tucked away but no longer fits.:o

I bought another jumper about 1996 (pre-season one with the Hawk on the front) which I still haven't put a number on.

My young bloke got his first last year and was unequivocal that No.15 was to be his number. FWIW, I would have the same if I was to get myself a new one.

Same deal here, only I'll probably go the number 15 at some stage.

Also want to get one with the number 1 on it for big Maxy!

Couple of old kids guernseys getting around my house. One with a 9 and the other with a 3. Funnily the 3 is only there because my son was 3 when he got it. His first game attended was Jon Hays last game played and the little bugger talked me into buying a badge tha twas null and void from that day on.
He has upgraded to a new silky guernsey now and with my influence went the 15 on the back.
Got home from work the other day and his mother had removed the 1 and centred the 5 at his request. He's decided he looks more like Sammy and should be wearing the Captains number. Poor little bugger was in absolute tears when Sammy got knocked out on Sat (going 38 points down at same time did not help!)

If I was to go down the path of wearing a guernsey with a number on it I'd toss up b/w 14, 30, 15, then go with 2 due to my complexion and rough head!

I still haven't put any numbers on my 2 jumpers. I want 15 on my traditional jumper and 23 on my clash jumper. Last time I drove out to Waverley the numbers were sold out. In basketball i have always used number 9. My tribute to crawf :thumbsu:

My 3 and half year old son has No. 23 (Buddy's) but the funny thing about it is most of the Hawk supporters laugh when they see my son wearing the 23 as he looks like Dermie, Blond curly hair.

Never had numbers until this year. Got 22, it's my number in my indoor AFL team and it's my B'day 22nd. I also think Tucky will be with us in the long term and a great player.

My daughters a massive changa fan & I reckon she has great taste - we have no better clubman on & off the field.

When I was a kid I used to have 26 on my jumper - of course that was in the late 60's :).

IMO if I was going to get a number now who couldn't go past 15!

I live with a Freo supporting wife (who obviously loves seeing the Hawks win too...for her own sanity)....she likes Crawf

My daughter did follow Freo, but has jumped on the Hawks (is a 1st yr member - can there be any greater thing than seeing a child start following the Hawks???? especially after following a WA team) - She loves Buddy

My son follows Richmond and will never change (same as me in terms of changing teams, so won't give him grief about that)...his second team is the Hawks and is a big fan of Buddy too.....

For me, Num 15 is easily the king.....

How could you let your son's follow the Tigers LOL ,i'd be devestated if my son supported another team besides the Mighty Hawks.

My youngest daughter has 10 for Changa. She is 5, and obsessed with Changa.

My eldest daughter, who is 8, is in love with Buddy, so she has number 23. But please don't tell Buddy, she would KILL me !!!

How old is your son?
Just interested because if he is less than 30 there would be no conceivable reason to support them other than a love for Richo or your Dad barracks for them, but you dont??

He's 12. When he was really young (as in 3-4 yrs old) he fell in love with Tigers in general as a "kid-thing" (and then started to follow Richmond)....He is a huge fan of richo, which is fine as far as I'm concerned...

the door is always open if he wants to make the Hawks his team...just like his sister, only has to say the word and I'll be getting him a membership!

I have 11 as it was Joel Smiths heritage round jumper and I bought it at auction for my daughter becasue she loved his headband, Am happy with Youngy but never see any others. It is now signed by Gary Buckenara,Joel Smith and Youngy:thumbsu: Probably shoud stop stretching, I mean wearing it.
I reckon I could get a few bucks off Gary Shadforth for it now:D

My eldest has 5 for Sammy
Middle one has 19 for Mitch Thorp
Youngest has 16 for Beau Dowler:thumbsu:
The missus reckons Changa is her star, but wont be seen dead in a jumper:(

Got one this year in february for my bday, but haven't added a number yet.

I'm still debating whether i should get 16 for Beau Dowler (fav player :P) or 19 for Dunstall, Dixon and the great Mitch Thorp combined...as mitch is my 2nd fav player

I've got a game day jumper with 15 and Hodgey's autograph.

My son has big Max's #1 on his. Only because he loved Spider when he started watching the Hawks. And then Spider up and left.

Am going to get an alternative strip for him and wanted to put 33 on it, but I've got a feeling that it won't be Cyril's number in '09.
