McEntee as well...
Luke? Still on the hawks rookie list now. Has never played a senior AFL game either, I believe...

Yes never played a senior game (missed that point in the OP), but definitely in on the senior list now - elevated at the start of this season.

Thought Stokes was elevated after muston injury and jacobs retirement??

Stokes is an elevated rookie - ie at end of year he goes back to rookie list. He's eligible to play all year so long as Jacobs and/or Bailey and/or Muston don't return. Our other rookies aren't ready, so with Jacobs retirement he's pretty safe.
McEntee had his two years as rookie, we had to elevate or delist him. He's now senior listed.
If Muston is out for the year and DJ retiring, does that mean we elevate 2 rookies?
i'm a bit out of it out of it! lol

Very hard to fully comprehend all the rules on rookies - advice from friend connected to another club.
This is how it was explained to me.
If someone retires (Jacobs) - cannot transfer rookie to list.
If someone goes on long term injury list (Muston) - can put rookie on list
Reason why St Kilda's Gehrig went on long term injured list so he could come back OR a rookie could be moved to list - they have hedged their bets (not in strict terms of long term injury - he has a cronic injury).
Therefore Stokes has been elevated from Rookie to the list whilst Muston is injured.
Hawks list is 1 short because Jacobs retired.
St Kilda still has full list.
Ozzie had a pretty short weight when he was Rookied :)

Anyway, back to the original kind of question, do people think that 7 ex rookies is a lot.
It seems a lot to me, in which case I think our recruiters and coaches have done a wonderful job identifying talent.

On the other hand, we've also had draft picks (players picked above rookie listed players) that have been delisted.
You win some, you lose some.
If they had truly 'identified' these talented rookies, they would've been picked up in the National Draft, not left until the Rookie Draft.
