Yea I know CW. Couldn't even be just normal spaceships. Gone too far, too much money rots the brain George and Steven.

Depends.

How many dimensions are we talking here ?

I'd be okay with a few, as long as Indiana still gets to play 11 home games.....

......sorry, what were we discussing again ?

With you there Chadwiko.

Medichlorians or whatever the crap explanation for Jedi 'power' was is the single worst movie moment in history.

Anyone who grew up with Star Wars wanted to believe that ANYONE could be a Jedi, not some ******* genetic mutation.

Come one people, grow up, it was an awesome movie.

It had a space ship FFS! Not only that, but it also had:

*Monkeys
*A katana
*A fight involving the Katana... on moving cars... through a jungle!
*A nuclear explosion!
*Aliens
*Quicksand
*CG gophers

The special effects were awesome!

Everything aside form the above sucked and was devoid of even a basic level of effort, but damn, what more do you people look for in a movie?!

Blah blah...

It's so in vogue to say that Lucas raped or pissed on your childhood.

What about the fact that he probably made your f___in' childhood to begin with, hey?

Pull your head in Chadwiko. You should be kissing that guys diamond studded feet:D

Fair call, because i'm a massive Star Wars fan (even the new ones, to an extent), and Indiana Jones fan. All great movies.

But, well... this comic about sums it up for me...

Errr, yes, and my point was that the urinating started long before the most recent installment in the Indiana Jones series.

You silly Wizard.

I could cope with the midichlorian crap, it was Jar Jar and that heinous brat saying "oops" all the time, added to the fact that the best (visual) villain he ever created in Darth Maul gets spliced in no time leaving the next prequel to a character name he borrowed from Sesame Street.

If there is one kid actor who I wish a vicious crack addiction on, it's that kid who played the non-kickarse Darth Vader. He was horrendous.

Yep.

Jake Lloyd... only previous claim to fame was Arnold Schwartzenegger's holiday classic 'Jingle All The Way'.

The movie that killed Sinbad's career:rolleyes:

Seems like a fair summation.

Darth Maul is a quality villian. And I enjoyed Yoda's kickass form with the light sabre. Beyond that, I am struggling to come up with anything else by way of highlight in these shitty prequels.

Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson were both quality actors doing the best they could with the material they were given.

Can I be carded for telling a mod to kiss my asphalt?

This is a serious question. If not, you know what my next post may be;)

Most annoying child actor since Christian Bale in Empire Of The Sun. At least he turned out to be an adequate psycho killer.

I would argue that Samuel L Jackson pips McGregor in the acting stakes, but having these well-known actors trot out the most banal, wooden scripts I think I have ever witnessed (outside of a Steven Seagal film), is not doing anyone any favours. The great Bobby De Niro could have had a walk-on as a Sith Lord (of unexplained New York extraction) and I have no doubt that his performance would have deposed "We're No Angels" as his worst ever. That's saying something.

I counted the minutes until 'The Other Christian' stepped in in defence of the man born to wear the cape.

This coming from the founder of the "Velvet Goldmine Was The Best Film Ever" Fan Club.

Don't hate, Wizard.

You know full well that Bale's performance in the "The Machinist" is the benchmark for all acting performances since the very beginning of film.

I won't ever argue that the man is one of the best going around... I just know you have a penchant for actors you claim to resemble;)

That would be suggesting Bale looks like O'Donnell. So wrong.

Like Timberlake looking like Roseanne.

I thought Shia LaBeouf's hair played a really good role. :thumbsu:

And what's with Karen Allen only being shot from the waist up for much of the film. In her 1 running scene I guess her thighs were CGI-slimmed.
