he has done well but nothing that warrants him a guaranteed spot!
bryan offers alot more around the ground, nice kick and good in front of goal!

Hmm... Bryan stunk it up Richards style in the prelim... Better step up this time to vindicate the decision!

He would have been stiff to miss out (Bryan). Woods' time is coming, just not this week. Expect some big body clashes and maybe a report from Bryan. He might be there to "Monster" them.

List management? Making sure he doesn't run out of puff too early in the season? Maybe he just doesn't match up too well in the overall game plan?

He'll be back playing against Cox next week, no doubt.

my money is on fraser pulling out

Was thinking that myself. Wouldn't be surprised to see Wood play and Fraser miss.

I'd also have my money on Fraser to not play with Wood named as an emergency.

Give him another week to heal up.

Wood just got a bit flaccid... :o

Will stand up with a week off.

In line for a return with Goldsack, but for the moment Dick is out of business.

Fraser to pull out and wood back in. I hope not but you can just see it happening.

Yes guys this topic is two fold.
On one hand wood may actually play tonight if fraser is ruled out at the last minute.
Or if fraser plays wood has been ommited for agood reason.Yes the kid is only 21 and learning his trade well. Remember wood is a long term prospect for us,where bryan is playing for his life.Maybe the powers to be want him to go back to the reseves to practice his ruck work.I have noticed that in previous games wood nearly always gets the tap out but goes straight to the opposition.Maybe he must practise more precise tap work to our players and combine that with just smashing the ball 20 metres into the forward line ala keating clearing the square which would stop us losing the centre clearences, and enables afifty chance of one of our players getting the ball on most occasions. His combination of tap work and smashing the ball out of centre clearences would give our guys a better cahnce of getting their hands on the pill alot more often.

Surely you are taking the piss?

His kicking is terrible ( Bryan ). Take a look at his spray on the full last week on his prefered side.
Wood is a far better kick.

NOCHANCE

Neither of them warrant a senior spot on performance last week they were both clearly beaten. Geelong has two young ruckmen and Bryan may have the stronger body to gain some small advantage.

Could be the case, maybe there's nothing too sinister about Woods' chopping yet.
