No way, not goal of the year harrys last week was better but it was a bloody great goal to watch. The way we played tonight anyone could have kicked goals even with blind folds on

Just another one for the Daisy Magic DVD. What we should be talking about was the amount of tackles he had tonight, haven't seen the stats sheet but his defensive pressure was the best I have seen from him.

lol, I was cheering massively for Harry's goal... but Daisy's was clearly better. Also, let's not forget Harry's technically hit the post :P
Judging from last year, only mediocre goals win the GOTY anyway so he doesn't stand a chance.

Daics was further out went in teh air and spun differntly.
But was definetly one that the marvel himself would be proud of.

Dale really didn't do anything apart from kick it, harry worked all over the saints players to earn the footy then put it through from the angle, imo a more all rounded and better overall goal.
Either way, I don't think they will win GOTY
Yeah, I preferred Harry's goal as well.
Very nice finish from Thomas though.

Daicos was closer to goal not further out, but he was much closer to the boundary, right on it in fact, and the ball hit the goal line on the full, it didn't dribble through like Thomas', which is the easier kick. Great goal though.

the goal itself looked very daicos like.....lets hope he can be half as good as daics...Spectacular stuff dale...and also great game....
19 touches 7 tackles 6 marks and a goal PLUS he kept the brownlow medalist to 20 VERY INEFFECTIVE touches....
again, well done dale....

Harrys was a fluke whilst Daisys was pure skill. He does that so often its not funny... well sort of :)
It was ____'n brilliant, got everyone at the ground off their seats.

And technically Lloyd's GOTY was incorrect disposal.
It was a great goal but I think the goal of the year has already been kicked. McPhee's(?) fall away boundary shot was as deliberate as it was freakish and, grudgingly, deserves recognition.

I was sitting top deck of the AFL members area, everyone, and I mean everyone, Geelong fans included, got up and cheered.
It was a great goal, but McPhees was probably better.

Was an awesome goal but not goal of the year.......Cyril Rioli and Eddie Betts kicked better goals. I'd rate Harry's the equal of it because of the lead up.
I know it didn't count...but his goal last year against St Kilda was better. That was one of the all-time greats I reckon.
Daics was a harder goal. Tighter in, kicked it to the goal line and it was a final afterall. Freakish man.
Leon has had some contenders this year also......in fact, I don't think I can remember a season where we have kicked so many freakish goals.

Great goal, nowhere near goal of the year but was great to see the ease at which he did it. IMO cyril rioli has goty thus far.

Harry's was a fluke? Get your hand off it. Sprints a fair way to spoil, tackles, collects, evades, drop punt through the sticks on an acute angle. Pure skill, pure class.
