I felt tonight that while everybody seemed to shine there was a stand out that battled and looked out of place. He made 2-3 disposal errors early in the first qtr when the game was on and in the last qtr the feast was blemished by at least 4 clangers by Johno. I really feel for him, but at the same time i get so pissed off.
Your thoughts?

nah thought he was pretty good. Still not in best form but getting better each week.

He was certainly nowhere near our best, to put it mildly. I can't see any changes to that side for next week though.

FFS! We just beat one of the best teams of the modern era by 86 points, you must be a real glass half empty sort of person - give the dude a break he beat his man.

My God he has become a whipping boy for some supporters. He's certainly not our best player but usually not our worst either. The point is, if you think he should be dropped, you have to suggest a better player to replace him. Egan, Stanley, Cook, Illes? The fact is Johnson is a far better player than those 4 at the moment and probably always will be. Sure he made errors tonight, but also did some really good things.

Once again chimed in with an important goal and played some pretty good footy. I thought he did his bit, as did the rest of the team.

I agree.. I find myself riding his every possession, a bit like Leigh Mathews in a coaches box, hoping that he doesn't muck up because i feel tension whenever he's involved in the play. I agree with all of the above points but he did turn the ball over by foot several times tonite. No i would not have him out of next weeks side either as there is no one worthy of his spot. I am just making a point about his disposal tonite.

If anyone can find a Collingwood player who should legitimately be dropped on tonights individual performances I would be stunned.
I know that a couple will but I don't take them at all seriously as they are basically "serial knockers". That is why I specified "legitimately".
i thought johnno played vey nice footy. crucial in the early stages

i didn't think he played bad, however there still is a lot he can improve on. But he is serving well so far.
Obviously I don't think anyone's going to be dropped, and you're never going to have 22 players play well....
Having said that though, Johnson and Maxwell both looked worryingly bad in a team that was thrashing. They both have next week to make up for it.

Looked the best he has in a while playing on the HFF, should play there more still soem strange errors but nothing to lynch him over

anthony yes but still cant see max dropped.
Cox no must learn to be somewhat accountable just a little bit, bring back goldsack will be better for the run in the twos
