Yesterday the news services heralded the finding of an Honor board dedicated to Jock McHale hidden in a wall no doubt to protect it for someone to find in years to come. Well the year is here.

Anyway in another thread I asked about the ten year player honor board as that along with so much other stuff was LEFT behind when we left Vic Park. That honor board is also now hidden away in a false wall that was part of the Umpires $300,000 renovations of our former Football offices as they bought them up to 2008 standards. There is much still left of our heritage at Vic Park and although the Club has been asked to be part of the renovations the silence from Lexu$ to the offers are deafening.
There is a big event happening after this footy season ends that allot of Collingwood supporting home gardeners maybe interested in ..... but we have to wait.
Hurry up and piss off VIS so we can put more stuff in our joint.

We need a pool room already.
That way when they make indiana jones 5 - The temple of the black and white bird, indy can dust off the first football ever kicked by the club and say "That... is going straight to the pool room".

Victoria Park is in danger of ending up like North Melbourne's Arden Street home, a desolate windswept ghost of an AFL venue. The council have applied for the soil at the Yarra Falls end to be removed as well as the fence at that end to "open it for residents". The roof of the Rush Stand(the on the Johnson st side) is earmarked for removal is they Yarra City Council get approval from Heritage Victoria. All the "portable" toilets are being removed as well as the seating in the Social Club/Bob Rose Stand.
Unfortunately our Board have found the issue of Victoria Park a thorn in the side of the Club. As I have said before the Club has been asked to become involved but these requests are still falling on death ears. Although the Club did pop up when new services arrived for the finding of the Jock McHale board. Maybe thats a sign the Club is willing to finally get involved ...... :thumbsu:

How strange was the way they calculated a teams percentage back then... the lowest percentage wins! Any idea when that changed?

I don't even use that place, I haven't logged onto it in donkey's years and I don't think I ever posted there so what gives!!!

Well although not Banned my access is barred so I can't log in and I can get that link fine. I would say they are having a few troubles as Cam some of you would know as a fine poster over there has also been banned.... so I think it's just Karma.
