Yep, Mundy absolutely dogged a critical contest in the 4th Qtr (with 10 minutes to go).
MacPharlin also cost us a goal - he should have shepherded Fev and protected Peake late in the last qtr. Instead he let Fev run around him and then lay a tackle on Peake - resulted in a holding the ball decision and a free kick to carlton. ____ing soft macpharlin.
Seeing as we can't lay claim to the "dockers" what about TheFremantle Chokers.:thumbsd:

This side is crap and shi* !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do what Hawthorn has done, trade as many as you can including pav, get the best kids going around in the draft. It is a strong draft this year, it will pay dividends in a year or two :thumbsu:

Agree. Spineless mob. Mentally weak. Crumble when the pressure is on. What do fans think of Pav? Gun, yes. But that is two games where he has hit the post when they really needed him to kick the goal. Feel for some of your fans. Suffer almost as much as Richmond fans.

You could see them hanging over the edge where the players leave the field, waving flags and applauding. Unless Carlton are wearing purple now..

This is not an acurate reflection of most of the guys playing. They are mentally shot at present.

It must be a real bad feeling right now for you guys because I know they are much more capable of playing better. It all comes down to confidence and when you don't have confidence things go from bad to worse. I know how it feels, absoltuley awful.

Are you saying Pav is intentionally hitting the post in close games so that we don't win? Very good disguise by him if that's the case (and very talented too).
What do you think we think of Pav? The man is a superstar. What more would you like him to do? He wins the ball out of the middle, he kicks the goals, he tries to inspire his teammates. Short of him running out there on his own and beating the opposition single handedly, I'm not sure what will make some people happy.

Obviously I was referring to his mental composure. He is your captain and you did need him to stand up with that kick at goal.

I think he's one of the most mentally composed players in the AFL. By hitting the post, he's going as close as he can to goals as possible without actually sending it through - I have no doubt that he wanted to kick that goal just as much as we wanted him to.

I was there with a crew. All Melbourne based supporters. We didn't cheer them off. In fact I left at the siren - and I now have a beer.
The team didn't deserve applause, our seasons finished. We have to look at the positive signs - we have some great kids who are better than some of our established players. We have Pav. Let's get a swag of great kids in the next draft and back our boys to the hilt.
Palmer, Ibbo, Mayne etc have been fantastic.
From today:
Pav - superb. Palmer - superb again. Ibbo - very good. Mayne - while he made a few mistakes, he never shirked a contest from what I saw. Losing Dodd hurt. Tarrrant was good. Macca gave his all, as usual. Questions remain for Peake, Johnno, Mundy. I want them to do well but...
I'm not angry - there are plenty of positives signs...
I can only see my beer as half full...

Whats he do when the game is on the line?? 3 of the last 4 weeks he has missed critical kicks in the final quarter. Stars stand up when the game is on the line, he doesnt.

If it wasn't for Pav's efforts the game wouldn't even have been close enough to be on the line.
Ungrateful fans like you don't deserve to have a player of Pav's calibre playing for you.

Not a troll boys...
But it made me sick to see your captain "fall" over today, he was pleading to the umpire for free kicks or 50m penalties and isn't a player that should lead a team that is struggling. He is a player who i thought was tough and was shining light for fremantle but today i lost respect because of his antics. Same goes for Farmer but i didn't have any respect for him in the first place:o

Maybe if the umpires had paid the same frees that anyone in navy blue was getting our players wouldn't have to play for them.
