We were outplayed all day, not massively, but Carlton were the better team for mine all day.

It was only our accuracy, and their innacuracy, which kept us in it.

Its all about Melbourne based clubs. From 2001 to 2006 interstate teams were burning. Melbourne is the home of football, if there is no support for the them no money comes in. Umpires will give the melbourne clubs are helping hand when needed IE give as many free kicks as you want to melbourne based clubs against interstate teams to assist them to win. Rule No.1 by the AFL.

That's about right. Unlike the other three games where we've lost it in the 4th 1/4, we were actually not on top of the opposition for large parts. It still £$%&ed though because we were in a position to win again, and it didn't happen.
