Well according to someone who spoke to Jamo at the footy, and asked him how he was going, and apparently Jamo's shoulder right now is pretty crap and he's going to miss the next month at least

Sucks...is a chance to strengthen our defence without him there tho.

well if it's any consolation, we should get T-Bird back in the next week or two ..

BTW I know Tarrant kicked a few goals on him today, but again impressed with Bower, has just been rock solid there all year ..

The club did say that he'd miss around 2-4 weeks of footy. Could be 4, which is the early diagnosis. Missed him today, especially with our flexibility down back.

Thornton yes, and i'm not sure about Banno.
Still, would be a couple of handy inclusiuons.

Hmm Well I don't think anyone right now actually deserves to be dropped, rather happy with Wiggo as well, so no room for Bannister right now I"m afraid.

....and we got through a match without any injuries?
Cloke might be a chance to return.

The inoccuous nature of how his injury occurred more than likely means that his shoulder is stuffed, and probably was before this latest injury. Needs an op.

even it was just a sub lux as reported it still means the shoulder is unstable. I would suggest a booking with the great Greg Hoy for the day after our last match for a shoulder reco... should be back running by late november/early december.

Mayb a suspension of Waite???
We can't kep losing players to injury and suspension and expect to continue to be compeditive.

Saddington any chance of a return? If Waite gets rubbed out and thornton is not yet available we are going to be pretty short down back.

i heard from a pretty good source that Carlton FC were considering raising Wdgann from the Nuff Nuff list should waite get rubbed out, just to keep Thornton out of the side!.......

Depends how we go with injuries/suspension. If Thornton doesn't return and/or one of Setanta (shoulder)/Waite (possible suspension) are out, we'll likely see him this weekend.

I can tell you that Saddington will not play a game for the Carlton Football club again unless of extreme circumstances. He will not play this year and will be delisted at years end. - this isn't an opinion.

If austin is not suspended nor injured I would not be suprised at all if he comes in.

Just seems to be the way Ratts is headed this year, all about the future, so the kids will get a go ahead of older statesman such as saddo.

God i wish saddo was solid but, it would be sooo good for our backline

That was very definate! Can you tell us the NATURE of your source and how reliable that would be?

Not sure if that's worse than first thought.

Any time you sublux your shoulder trying to punch a football, its pretty loose. Will have an op at the end of the year if he gets through the rest of this season I would have thought.

1 week to settle the shoulder down, 2-3 to try and strengthen it a little.....then cross your fingers and pray like a Cloke.:thumbsu:

Generally when what happened to Jammo happens a Re-co is required, that's if it did dislocate, im not sure exactly what happened but many players play with shoulders that can pop out, some get lucky and are near enough to 100% when it's poped back in. Some can just do strengthening exercises to fix it.

Who knows exactly what did happen to his shoulder?

When they get bad and come out all the time, that is when a re-co is needed.

Wouldn't suprise me if he has an op on it at the end of the season but for now they will probably just tape him up and hope for the best.

We all hope so MB.
Over the past month or so, our list has been really thrown around due to injuries. Hopefully we can get some back in Thornton and Cloke.

Very annoying that we have lost Waite now with Jammo still out and Thornton still sus.

Lets just hope the coach talks to Bower and suggest he put his elbow down and behave.....otherwise Saddo might get a run.

Stop letting EddieB proof read your posts!
Injuries happen but suspensions like Waite are not good enough. You can be tough and agressive but I am not sure that this situation is one Ratts will use as an example!
