How are everyones' buddies going 9 Rounds into the season??

My Co-Buddy is Rhys Palmer.

Has probably been in the top 2-3 players for the dockers this season and has only played 8 games and is already our best midfielder! At this stage I'd say he would be looking very good to win the Rising Star award.

Will only get better!!!

Fantastic... except for pressure kicks. Mind you at least hitting the post is not as bad as OOF.

Starting to realise his talents. Gem in the making, definite best 22.

My buddy's been doing great, he's just been doing it in a less obvious way.

He's playing his cards close to his chest because after all, who's going to bet against a royal flush?

Been impressed with the work rate of McPharlin, he's had some big names to tag and he's come up well on most occasions. Shut down the Fev pretty well yesterday as well.

Still working his way through injury and back to full fitness. Will be back soon (I hope) adding another pacey youngster with good skills to the middle. :thumbsu:

Mundy has had an average year so far. 17 touches, 5 marks and 2 tackles a game sounds okay, but it's not enough. He has shown glimpses of a tougher attitude toward the contest at times, but this has dropped off badly at times. Foot skills are still exemplary. He has spent much less time as loose man in defense, and consequently hasn't been racking up as many touches. I have seen him lining up in the centre square, on the wing, in forward fifty and deep in defense. He hasn't made any particular position his own. I think ideally he would be a winger/half forward flanker, where his superb foot skills could be put to best use.

I actually think he should get a stint in the WAFL, but there are a fair few that are even worse at the moment (Peake, Schammer, Thornton, McManus).

My buddy hasn't had a great start to 2008, but he's gearing up for a big crack at the second half of the year. Between injury and suspension, Johnno hasn't had too many games. His form in the WAFL has been exceptional and I would expect to see him back soon after he serves his suspension.

After a short lay off with injury, my buddy is back to his best playing a dour old fashioned game. Still think he is one of the most under rated players in the AFL, although the commentators gave him some big compliments yesterday.

Mr Grover.

Mr Grover.

I thought he was great yesterday masai - he's not only underrated by outsiders, but he's very underrated on this board. One of our most important players - will always provide a contest and regularly plays out of his weight division. We will be a much better side if we can get McPharlin, Grover and Hayden together on a regular basis.

Not very well at all.

Not only can't he get a game but it seems like he's dropped even further down the pecking order behind Kep. And there's reports of him perhaps being a little sulky and lazy in the WAFL.

And to top it all off the whole world seems convinced that he will walk out at the end of the year. Maybe even for nothing in the PSD.

Maybe I should stay out of the buddy draft next year.

Schammer.

Played a semi-decent game on the weekend, set up one goal and ran hard.

He puts his heart into it but he is not doing enough. He simply gets knocked over too often, which affects him offensively and defensively. His disposal is still questionable also, though it has improved.

Lets hope he can take his game to another level, we have been waiting on it for a long time.

Adam Campbell is having a decent year in the WAFL and will hopefully get another chance in the AFL very soon.

There was a draft at the start of the year that IP organised.

Maybe I should have traded my top 6 pick for a recycled player.

Matt Carr. Sensational. Retired at the top of his game.

Drummy: going ok, shown some good glimpes and has been solid. Every time I watch him I cant help but think he should have played more than he has beofre this season.

At least harvs is giving him a go now....... but it does seem to be a waste.

It is concerning the amount of injuries he has had...

Hinkley has already cracked the seniors much earlier than I though he would. Has nicely pulled on the old James Walker #19 and showing off his raw pace in the WAFL.
