Our boys will be up against it today but if they can repeat last weeks effort they should make a cotest out of it.
Form: Sandy comes off a 150 point win
Antz come off 40ish pint win over league leaders.
I am heading down and hopefully i will post a report.
And just to let you know i will be absent from this board for 10 days starting tomorow as i am going on a school trip. I am very sad that i wont be able to know the Carlton Geelong score until the following THURSDAY!
So GO BLUES and hpefuly thay can get a huge win over the cats. More importantly NO injuries. BIBI
Have a good trip, and let's hope you get a big surprise when you find out Thursday.
Do you know whether today's VFL game is being broadcast on radio?

I think only Casey games are broadcast on community radio :)

Disappointed to see Aussie reported given Setanta has injured his shoulder. If he is suspended and Setanta misses we will be very thin down back.
Why does Ackland care enough in the VFL to hit someone, yet last week didn't care enough to even lay a shepherd?
if setanta = injured and or waite = suspended then saddington = included.

Second that, it will be interesting to see how he goes at this level in the 2008 season:thumbsu:.

Not a good game for Hartlett i presume? Not one goal
Great to see Benjamin with another couple of goals, even though he wasn't in our best players today. You'd have to think that his debut with the Carlton Footy Club is getting closer and closer.

Also the continued form of Joey, seems like he's backing up his efforts at Casey Fields a couple of weeks ago...injuries to any of our smaller brigade could see him push for a spot :thumbsu:

A bit disappointed to read in the Age this AM that 3 of Saunters goals were from 50m penalties from Austin........and the report......WTF is going on with Aussie?
So close to senior selection yet rather than stabnd up he had a brain explosion. Not the sort of discipline Ratts would be looking for I would have thought.
Anyone see the game and comment on what looks to be an average day for Aussie?

I know one of the 50's happened right in front of where I was & it was very soft (as usual) ...... Aussie was talking to the up about the free that was given away.....(did not look to be arguing with the ump at all) & up gave 50......
as for the others...... from the ants supporters re-actions, they were soft but I cannot comment as I did not really see those ones. But the one that I did see..... Aussie definitely did not have a brain fade.... was just asking a question

Anderson in the best again? Always liked him a lot, can't be too far from getting into the Carlton side?
