People on these forums bagged Jack Reiwoldt (<20 games) for missing a 55m goal after the siren.

Johnson will win far more games than he loses for the Bulldogs. Worse was the one about 5 minutes earlier, running into an open goal and he hit the post.

Gave his side a chance to win tonight with a superb last quarter. Four shots on goal in the last quarter says he played a pretty important role in giving the Dogs a chance.

I'm happy he missed that. Same with the other one also in the 4th quarter where he ran into the open goal and hit the post.

For so long now we've seen Johnno "cheat" by sneaking forward and getting on the end of those goals, instead of helping out teammates around the contest to win the disputed ball. Also gets/plays for a solid amount of free-kicks in marking contests.

He feasts on cheap goals, it worked in round 1, but tonight was the evening-up.

Oh well. This is the first time this has happened this year.

We were bound to lose a close one.

Johnno is a great player but he isnt the bloke I want to take a kick after the siren. Can't be angry at him though. He is a champion. We wouldnt have been close had he not been playing. Adds so much confidence in the other blokes.

He was under more pressure than a normal player. This thread, and the other is testament to that. You dont want to be a captain kicking ater the siren. Im sure JB was scared S******* when he dobbed that goal after the siren last year.

Johnno has been kicking for goal awfully pretty much all year. He was terrible again tonight. As he was lining up I really expected him to miss, so I'm not sure it's fair to say he choked. He just didn't kick it well at an obviously incredibly important time.

I would say it's a choke when you would kick it 90% of the time. Based on this years efforts, I don't think Johnno was anywhere near a 90% chance to kick it.
