Would think Bentick would be resonably high in cont. pos. ave. aswell considering he hasn't played as many matches as the leaders but not sure.

Could not find a site that gave me averages for contested possns and clearances and I am too lazy to do the maths :)

Judd is second for average contested possessions in the AFL, with an average of 5.6 CP per game (Black is first, averaging 6).
Bentick is third for avg CP in the AFL, with an average of 5.4 per game - phenomenal effort for someone as maligned as he is. :thumbsu:
Bentick's only averaging 2.2 clearances a game however, which would have him outside the top 50 in the AFL according to Prowess Stats.
HOWEVER, Bentick is averaging 4.6 clearances according to Champions Data, which is equal with Judd, who is 11th in the competition.

that is not a surprising stat. I would be more concerned if this was low and so was his contested possessions. His role as an extractor type is to dig deep in a pack and get the hand ball out. The clearance gets credited to the player who kicks the ball but ultimately its the bloke at the bottom of the pack who should get the honors!

Don't believe that site. It is hopeless.
Go to the AFL site and you'll get the correct stats. Judd is averaging about 11 contested possesions a game and Black similar.

I am guessing you got the Champion stat from the HeraldSun Superfooty site
Where did you find the Prowess AB stat - could only find leaders (they cant be right, he has had over 11Cl in 2 games alone and that = 2.2)
