Another thing, I got the new Kerrang magazine and someone wrote in asking about Pantera. The editor replied saying that Pantera are definately still together and according to their record label, the new album should be due out around October!

I don't know how true this is as Phil is still touring in America with SJR, but you never know. At least they will be serving up another album! :D

It has to be better than the last CD, that's all I've got to say.

Biggest coaster I've had the displeasure to buy for ages.

Have they changed from their Cowboys From Hell & Vulgar Display Of Power days? They are the only Pantera CD's I have and I think they would be pretty hard to beat.

I was waiting for a comment like this.

While I can understand where you are coming from, most people fail to realise that it truly is a very solid album. The only reason people where let down was because it was so long between albums, and most people were itching for the new album to come out. With all the anticipation and expectation, alot of people built the album up, so when it came out, they got all disappointed.

Songs like "Hellbound", "Yesterday Don't Mean Sh*t", "Revolution is My Name" and "We'll Grind that Axe" are very, very good songs. Alot of people just built the whole thing up too much.

Nah I didn't like it because the songs weren't any good.

Too busy rehashing. Fell into a bad rut with this CD & to a lesser extent the previous one.

Care to elaborate on that?

I think your being slightly blinded by your faith here. It was an ok cd - nothing more. A few good songs, a couple of average ones.

Exactly - people thinking considering its been 5 years between cds that theyd be able to come out with something better than that!!!

Short and to the point!
:D

Not a fan, although I did buy CFH & Vulgar when they came out.

I find their videos far more entertaining than their music these days.

I try not to be blinded by my faith, but alot of other people I know quite like the album also. Granted, it took them awhile to get into it, but once they did, they enjoyed it.

I am looking forward to the new one, as they will come back to Pantera refreshed from doing different things.
