I listened to the commentators for the Brisbane V North Melbourne game tonight and they joked that Brisbane V freo next week was the bye...not sure if that was a go at freo's abysmal record at the gabba or if it was a go at freo's recent last quarter fade-outs... either way it p*sses me off! C'mon guys, kick some arse this week so we as supporters have something to cheer about!

That said, you buggers had better show up next week. I can always tell by the body language whether you are switched on when you do your warm ups.
Last years gabba match, you should have stayed in the rooms, your players were sitting at the beach anyway really, but not switched on warming up. The same at that atrocious melbourne match AFTER half time.
As for your club, the problems are from the top down. You never ever disrespect your supporters. I would have expected far far better than what they have done recently.

Thats some nuts in the commentry team running their own show. Imagine if freo wins this weekend and they will sing a different tune. To hell with them.
Leigh would never disrespect any opponent, be it a ladder leader/middle of the pack/wooden spooner. IMO, you guys are not far off and we cant relax next weekend. I remember mentioning that in another thread. Its kinda cruel to see so many close matches and none going your way. Well good luck for today and will keep it to myself for next week.

That was Dwayne Russell that made that comment and Dunstall bantered him a bit about it afterwards.
I think that we will end up getting belted in reality, how are we going to stop Brown and Bradshaw, and the last few times their midfield has handed our arses on a plate.:(
On a side note give me Dunstall and Lynch in the commentator box over Wallsy and the Ox any day of the week.

The thread was about Lynch calling the Freo game 'the bye'. That's not only shameful, but disrespectful given the shape his old Fitzroy team were in, when we gave his club a great send off.
Yeah I was gobsmacked by this one, I wouldn't have thought we were playing bad enough to cop the bye tag. If you are getting belted by 100 points every week fair enough but we have been there or thereabouts. Having said that, as has already been noted our record up there is abysmal. I hope Harvey plays that bit of footage to the team all week.

He will be there as will the rest of the family and some of his friends. Hoping like heck your team turn up and play decent accountable football.

The admin I have had experience with is pretty poor and thats probably being polite. They are a very young cast which doesnt help. I think the saying "being promoted beyond their ability" sums them up well.

No excuses for the club though. If they treat normal supporters so poorly, what in heck would they be doing to the corporates.

You earn respect ...I don't blame the commentators for mocking us.
Given the fact we've never won at the Gabba in 13 years, "the bye" is probably a fair assessment.

My son is Kapow on here. He sent an email to the club after the melbourne match. he received a perfunctory only reply that week. Nothing since.
Its like, yep we will reply, but basically we dont give a ....

Never been a real big bagger of Fremantle, and I know it seems as if I am trolling but seriously, your club needs to be gutted and rebadged. Given a new name, new colours, new song, new coachs, gut the senior players and poach a LEADER for your club (no disrespect to Pav).

And how exactly Reveler. We would be lucky to stop one influential big man let alone a dead set champ in Brown and a very very good FF Bradshar. Their midfield is speedy and, even if not superlative once you take Black out, will get it in there enough times to make it ugly. Geelong were at near unbackable odds against Mel earlier in the year, I would be very surprised if we didn't go into that game at similar odds.

That is absolutely pathetic by the club! :mad::mad::mad: I'm pissed off about that, I read his letter and it was written with a lot more passion than anyone at the club has it seems.
I hate to say this about my club, but I'd like to see today tonight or one of those type of shows (which i usually despise) run the story of Kapow's letter and the response (or lack of) from the club only because it might shame the administration into action. :mad::mad::mad:

It was on here a few weeks ago. I'm sure someone can dig it up.
Basically, young Kapow!! has shown much more love for this club than most of the current playing squad ever will. I really feel for the young fella, especially considering that we will get massacred by Brisbane next week. I don't want to be a doomsayer but I can feel it coming. We've been close, now we will get belted. Seriously, Brisbane destroyed St Kilda and they will thump us by 10+ goals. :(
