It strikes me as astounding that some of the biggest nuffies on earth can be gainfully employed as Special Comments men in football.

Who do you like and who do you hate?

GOOD:
1. Jason Dunstall: Intelligent (rare) ex-footballer. Calls it as it is and does not let his personal bias get in the way of his calling. Should be on free to air TV.

2. Gerard Healy: Actually knows what he is talking about. One of the few media personalities who understands the tactical side of the game. Would have made a good coach. Should also be on free to air.

3. Nathan Buckley: By far the most knowledgeable of the recently retired players. Knows what he's talking about, gives great insight and isn't afraid to slag off a struggling player.

4. Luke Darcy: A bit weak on criticising players but he's polished. A good media performer and can string sentences together.

THE BAD:
1. Tony Shaw: possibly the biggest tit on planet earth. Stupid, arrogant, dislikeable and has nothing but the simplest understanding of the game, as evident by his pathetic coaching record. How this bloke isn't cashing in Centrelink cheques is one of life's great mysteries.

2. Robert Walls: arrogant and fickle. Is bias in who he attacks and changes his mind with comical regularity. Cannot handle criticism. Should not be on television at all.

3. Michael Voss: I feel like a clairvoyant watching a future train wreck unfold and there's nothing I can do about it. A complete simpleton who is going to get a coaching gig on reputation alone. How he gets a free to air gig ahead of Healy or Dunstall is ridiculous.

4. David Schwartz: Good bloke, complete idiot. Again, what were Channel 7 thinking?

I cbf'd thinking of others but from your list I'd remove Healy (who makes the occasional good comment from his stealth of idiotic ones).

Well said. Couldn't agree more....especially about Tony Shaw and Robert Walls.

FWIW, I agree with all those comments made by Choota.

However, the thread should be on the main board, not here.
