Does anyone know anything about Beau Muston and how he's injury progressing?
Will he come up next year?
I got a good feeling about this guy that he is going to be a champion:thumbsu: one day if he's leg is 100%?

Met Beau at the players night about 3 weeks ago - recovery coming along nicely. Perhaps No. 24 or Rusty will bring you up to date as they spoke to him last week:thumbsu:
Really impressed with this guy and look forward to a great season next year (all going to plan).
Remember Hawks have allocated him No. 17!!!!

nup not going to make it.:(
A mate of mine involved in recruiting said they knew when they took him of all the risks involved and past injury worries but was worth the risk because his closing speed and recovery was second to none.
Unless he can have 2 new pins attached he will never recapture the explosive speed he once had that made him a top choice:(

Rusty and I did speak to B2 last thursday. We commented that he was running, running hard and looked superb.
Musto said he did not start running until 9 months after the first two operations whereas he is running this time after 9 weeks !!.
He also said he feels so good he wants to do more but the medico's are holding him back. He also said he believes he will be ready to play before the end of this season but does not believe the club will risk him.
But gee he looks good at the moment.
Fingers crossed for the kid. I think from the limited GameTime I've seen, that he has the abillity to make it as an AFL footballer.

I've seen him out at Box Hill a couple of time this year - the first time he was on crutches, and had a massive knee brace on as well. The next time I saw him, he had discarded both the crutches and the brace.
Fingers crossed that all goes well for him.
From what I've heard on these boards from people who've had more dealings with the young lad than I, he seems to have the right attitude and spirit.
