I assume by 1-11 you mean goals and not points.

We'll have to improve significantly to beat Richmond, because they're not that bad.
I think we'll lose personally.

Surely there is no clash??
I was reading in the Hun today that Melbourne are stuck with their hideous silver clash guernsey for two years because all clubs agree to clash tops for that period at a minimum. Is this our second or third year with the red top? If it's the third we may have another year of disappointment yet (being if we we've signed another 2 year contract).
What an ugly strip. Rivals Porks away strip for the worst ever.
Crows to beat Richmond if they kick straighter and remember these three words...Hard Ball Gets
The tiges will be without Kane Johnson which is a shame.

The fact that it really is that simple is worrying i mean can you imagine the bookies you had to put Adelaide's odds up becuase you found out they are wearing the cursed jumper!

Surely our guersney doesn't clash?
If it clashes, surely Essendons did on Friday night and they should've had to wear their clash guernsey?

Exactly. if we are made to wear ours its a farce.
We shouldn't need to wear the red guernsey - we were able to wear our normal home one against Hawthorn this year, who have more yellow than Richmond - I'm just thinking back to 2006 when we had to wear the red one.
If it's the red one, I am very, very confident that we will lose in a close one.
1W 7L with the red guernsey :thumbsd:
We have won 9 of the last ten over Richmond and though it will be close I think we SHOULD win.
Bock vs Richo should be a beatuty and I would back Bock to be more damagine than Richo with his ball use.
The red guernsey is a furhpy. Losing in it is merely coincidence. Anyone who says otherwise is a superstitious fool.

I'd like to think so, and I'm not a superstitious person.
2006 v Richmond L (when we were dominating)
2007 v Carlton W (by a few goals and played awful)
2007 v Melbourne L (hadn't won a game all year)
2007 v St Kilda L (after kicking the first 5 goals)
2007 v Essendon L (below us on the ladder)
2007 v Hawthorn L (lead all day)
2008 v West Coast L (they're pathetic)
Doesn't bode well. Every time we play in it, we play like shite.

i don't think its so much a two year contract thing, rather that it must be used for at least two years after it is introduced. So you can wear it for just the two years, three years or ten years.
I know its been done to death, but personally I think we need to do away with it and get a predominately yellow clash strip. Would work better IMO.
But back on topic, I honestly have no idea. I'll be at the game, and usually in the lead up to the game i tend to get a feeling of which way its going to go, and usually i am right. I just honestly have no idea this week.
I don't like the red jumper, but I reckon it has didley squat to do with whether we win or lose. Then again, I don't believe in the tooth fairy either, so I guess it's just my pragmatic nature.
I hope the crows wake up and play attractive football, they have not been all that convincing over the last 2 weeks, and they are risking to lose a spot in the top 4, they have the Pies and the Swans huffing and puffing right behind em

Wrong, we are 2W and 7L in the red guernsey.

Lets wear the other clash geurnsey, the one with the giant "Crow" emblem accross the front. There is plenty of red on that jumper too, the whole back is red.
But thank goodness we have played well at home.

Pretty sure we will get away with the new away strip for those games, with yellow on the front/sides and red on the back. The trouble with richmond is the yellow on the front with the crow next to it probably mimicks the yellow sash of the tigers in a way.

We've got to get used to this red uniform, simple as that. We'll probably wear it for most of our remaining away games whether you like it or not.
But with the tough (but winnable game against) Hawks coming up the following week, this team will be under alot of pressure this week. We are not a very good team under pressure, especially in finals. I think we have to prove ourselves wrong, getting a win could or will make a massive difference on our season.
But I'm not confident. When we struggle, we struggle to get our hands on the ball. Looks like Adelaide may suffer one of their trademark "shock losses" this weekend.
Unless they forget they are wearing red, and do not under estimate the other team. Or Kane Johnson will teach us a lesson.

richmond will be coming out fired up after last week, you have only won 3 of ya last 10 games at the MCG and its our backyard. Sould be a good game GO TIGERS

Yeah, but those ten games have probably been spread over a period of about 7 years!
EDIT: A quick bit of research sees that the last ten games at the MCG has actually yielded 4 wins, and that it stretches back to the 2002 Semi Final against Melbourne. We played NO home and away games at the MCG in 2002, so my statement of seven years is pretty accurate.

Did anyone else see on Ch 10 news the squad training in the red clash guernsey?

Never like to see mediocrity in the side, leaves us vulnerable if our top-end players are even slightly off their game. Not confident on the back of that which is sad because anything other than a comfortable win just is not acceptable.

I can't see why we aren't wearing our home guernsey, considering Richmond don't have to wear a clash guernsey when we play them in Adelaide. Did that last year, I don't remember there being a clash.

I think in a thread after the WCE game it was confirmed we wear it tomorrow.

Clash guernseys are Friggin stupid. It looks nothing like OUR guernsey, which symbolises our CLUB.
Not to mention Richmond and Adelaides home guernseys look NOTHING alike.

The good news is we still have Bernie the Vince, Richard the Douglas, Chris the Knights, Corporal Tippett, David the Mackay, Porpoise of the Clean-Hand Clan and our pensioners who keep on keeping on. These guys are quality and at any level of experience quality is a good thing to have in the side. We have to hope they can fire because there are some weaker areas (hint: A Gill-less/Hentschel-less CHF line and McGregor's unfortunate sluggishness) that could otherwise be exposed.

There is no clash, even with our away one. They would both work fine, seems we are too willing to wear the clash jumper so the AFL has said we clash with more teams than we do. Seen a lot worse this year.

As much as I hate the red clash jumper and want to burn it on a barbeque I can't see Richmond winning against us even if we don't have Birdman or the Griff and even though the tigers have improved and aren't a wooden spoon team. So I think the Crows should still win.
And anyway, who decides which jumper the Crows are going to wear? The AFL, the club?
