Just heard on the Channel 10 news that the Gold Coast Franchise have got their sights set on Trigg, with a view to poaching him and having him run the new Club.

Personally, I am a massive fan of Trigg, we have one of the best administrated, most successful and profitable clubs in the League, and responsibility must go partly towards him.

Will be interested to see if it's anything but their 'perfect world,' type scenario, but jesus I hope we don't lose him.

Don't want to lose him but if he does go for the money, challenge, weather or whatever can we insert in the exit clause that he has to take John Reid with him.

Just make sure there's a no Tippett clause in Triggy's contract.

Slow news day, I think the new Gold Coast team would be looking at a number of possibles around Australia and different sports.

Interesting to see if it did happen who would take over. The AFC have been very big on succession planning from within adn I guess Phil Harper would be the main candidate?

Apart from me of course;)

He is a loyal employee of the Adelaide Crows and passionate South Australian but if he was to leave there would be a queue down West Lakes Boulevard to take over.

Pretty sure Nigel Smart wouldn’t be out of his depth for too long if Steven Trigg decided to leave.

Hope he takes the woodville crew with him if he leaves :D

KingsCrow should be the new CEO, he seems to know everything about everything apparently, just trust him.

Nigel Smart would be well down the list of candidates in my view. Well down.

Cheers.

(Might tell Craig to drop Basset and Edwards if you put in a good word for me)

:D How about we keep Triggy and just send them Reid. That'll teach them.

We all have a hint of 'know it all' about us.

I am young an dumb.

The complete opposite of those currently running the AFC

(Bar Triggy, who I will say is doing a good job. Love the fact we have a young CEO who actually has played Footy before)

Did this story have any source? As I think the SA media sometimes makes up things to make them relevant to South Australia.

All the other states media are saying Cook and the South Australian media say Trigg. I don't think we are at risk of losing him.

Cook built West Coast and then re-built Geelong. He is the perfect candidate due to his experience.

I would hate to lose Triggy, I think he is a sensation club man and it would be a huge loss if he left, however saying that, nobody is irreplaceable.

What is wrong with Reidy? I quite like the guy.
