So it's the 9-1 Cats who aren't out of 2nd gear, against the Roos who are clinging to a spot in the 8 by half a game, but are now glad the whole relocation thing is put to bed at least for the forseeable future.

Being so early in the week, it's way too early for me to predict changes if any. But in terms of background, Geelong have won 5 of the last 7, and the last 2 against "Team Brayshaw" (it's 87-58 in Geelong's favor with 1 draw all-time). They've also won their last 9 at the Dome.

Hopefully for North fans, the memories of their last encounter are not in their minds. The worst thing that could have happened last season after Round 22 was to finish 4th and play Geelong first up in the finals. It ended up being a 106 point spiflication, a margin which surely won't be repeated this week even if the result is the same.

TIP: Geelong by 18 points, and still to remain in 2nd gear.

Geelong will definietly stay in 2nd gear. Thats all they need to do in order to be top 4 by the end of the season. Then they can kick it up a cog or two...

The cats seem to play well against north, and should pump them.

Th ijury list is massive and the team is full of kids.

This should be our line in the sand match.

Can't see that happening under the present coach.

Geelong by 72 points.

I am interested to see who bomber matches up against harvey as I dont think Ling would have the pace to go with him.
Ablett vs Harvey shoot out would be very good but Im sure that someone will go to Gaz.
Roos are always a danger game I feel as you have to be willing to have a real crack against the roos as they always will.

I think looking at the Geelong side, they're close to the Premiership side, with Ottens better for a game back and Mooney and Chapman looming as big dangers.

Combine that with Steve Johnson who last week played his best game for the year, The Kangaroos without a forward line, I have tip a massive blowout, something the Kangaroos will just have to forget about and move on.

Great bet tonight Geelong at the line for mine. Absolute monsters at the Dome.

Going to whack some live updates on my blog as I watch this with a couple of bourbons and some mates so looking forward to it.

Go Cats! Blow em off the park!

geelong have a 70 odd point average winning margin at the dome , but i say the roos will give it everything tonight , plenty of stopages and try and slow the tempo down .
having said that my $$$$$ is on the cats between 25/ 45 points .

With the roos missing probably their 3 most important forwards and throw in wells too i can't see how they will kick a big enough score.

SweetLeftFoot

Its only 22 points. I think its time to visit the sins of the father on the son and pay Ablett senior pack for his belting of Kristian Bardsley and a certain incident in the 1994 finals but hospitalising his balding progeny in the opening seconds of this 2nd quarter.

Firrito & Simpson I believe.

A bit of spite in the clashes between Simpson & Mooney, with a few soft taps going each way, although if the most highlighted one of Mooney's gets him reported, the MRP are a joke!:thumbsd: One of those ones where if it was a player without a reputation it wouldn't even get shown... just like the one of Simpson's that made Mooney retaliate.
