Thats right, the only change was to bring in Funcke.
Lets see here, Febey was BOG and was named an emergency, Williams was close to BOG but was only named as emergency, and to top it off Breese who was BOG until he had a minor wrist injury isn't even given a look in.
I watched the last Sandy game, and based on the performance there is no way Funcke deserves selection.

Not Happy!

I quite like Funcke as a player. He showed a lot at the end of last year. However I would have thought Febey would be close to getting a game.

What was all the talk of bringing in Breese and Miller?

Full of crap Melbourne are sometimes!

when i was watching the footy show last night i was hoping to see Miller or Breese in the IN's... but funcke....I'm very disapointed. The MFC can say some things that aint true... "oh this week we are most likely going to give Miller or Breese a run" my arse!

Exactly where's Febey!

For the record I do rate Funcke highly enough to suggest he'll do well. He's done well with his limited opportunities with us.

We really don't need Breese or Miller for this game. Lamb will get Hall, the rest of the Swan forwards are all medium sized & we have truckloads of those.

THATS CRAP.

Funke has been playing sh*t for Sandy! I'm shocked to hear this, I would have been surprised if he made the Sandy seniors!

What's crap? That I think he can play?

I didn't see last weeks game against Werribee. I'm only going on how he's gone when he's played for Melbourne, he's played well for us when he's played.

nah that hes in. I haven't seen him play for Melbourne so I can't say anything bout that... but I have seen him play for Sandy, and I haven't seen him play overly well this season, not like some of the other Melbourne players.

Fair enough.

I reckon MFC aren't too keen on playing inexperienced guys like Daniel Breese in a big game first up.

Funcke will cope well with coming off the bench while some others might struggle (Lamb for example!).

I'd still have Febey in!

Poor old Ross Funcke, sat on the bench for 3 & 3/4's of the game, totally pointless!!!!!!

If we were 12 goals up then sure don't rock the boat, but we were in trouble very early on. Williams did some good things but explain to me how a guy can be named an emergency & get probably 1 hour more on the ground than the guy picked in the 22

BT - Febey injured himself again this weekend, it doesn't look good for him unfortunately! :(
