Have you ever fought or been attacked?
What happened?

About 8 years ago.
Christmas eve, Crown casino, 8 bouncers, 1 big mouth, a chipped eye socket, cracked ribs, broken hand.
Don't wanna think on it any more than that. :o

Age 16 and under I was in many fights, then I decided not to fight anymore.
Running may seem cowardly, but I think it is the sensible and more civilized option.
I would only fight now if it was in aid of someone helpless, and only then to ensure they could get away from their attacker.
Actually, you will find if you are smart, you can avoid a fight, and win an argument 9.99 times out of 10. I suppose it helps that I look like the kind of guy you wouldn't want to mess with.

Get into a fight pretty much every week at footy. Usually cop a good punch and give some out.
Off-field there haven't been too many.

Being 6ft2in and over 100kgs, people rarely try and start fights around me. Admittedly I'm a very friendly person who doesn't get angry/violent drunk, but i'd expect someone to try and fight me one of these days.
On the footy field, i'm always the 10th person to arrive at a brawl and therefore usually pulling people apart.
The only place I'm a chance of getting in a decent fight, is Dublin. You walk down the street there and you get 15 insults in the space of 10m. GREAT COUNTRY

Living in New Zealand and playing Rugby i was in a few. One time i was filling in for a mates rugby team on the wing and the winger put a late hit on me about 5 seconds after passing, i called him a ________ and he smacked me in the face. I hit him a couple and then went to ground. His whole team then moved in and starting kicking me. My team were like " Whos that guy? " and didn't do shit. I got messed up i had my face stomped in bad. They looked after me after that though.
I was in a few in high school, one where i ended up driving my car, with about 6 mates on the bonnet/roof holding on to my roof racks driving away from 10-12 maoris chasing us with broken bottles.
I hate people who go out on the town looking for fights, absolute scum. Id rather have a beer and talk shit to someone any day then pick a fight.

Havent had a one on one fight but i've been involved in some brawls with mates and stuff.
One time in Geelong going back 10 years ago me and a few mates had a brawl with these irish blokes outside an irish pub. One of them insulted one of my intoxicated mates and my mate got right into it, others got involved and it ended up being an all in brawl.. As for my best mate (not a fighter) one of the irish guys was about to confront him and I interevened and we went at it for a good 30 secs one on one, then it turned into 5 on 1 as they jumped me, I just curled up like an echidna and took the full brunt of their force..
Fighting is one thing I try to avoid.. Not worth it, you either hurt them or hurt yourself.. I've landed a few punches that I have regreted, learnt from those as well..

This was the closest to the real thing though.
At schoolies, we went down to Sorrento after Lorne in the 2nd week. While we were down there one of my friends and I got sick (a seperate story) so we stayed at our place while our mates went to a party in Rye on the beach, I think there were 6 or 7 of us.
One of my friends has red hair so someone at the party started calling him Sherminator and eventually he got tired of it so he gave it back to this guy. It turned into a verbal fight, so my friends arranged to meet up later back in Sorrento where there were less people. They also had one of my mates mobile numbers.
After leaving the party my friends came back to our place. My sick friend and I were asleep, so they woke us up, they were drunk too and told us to get dressed and come to the front beach because they had organised to fight.
One of my friends carved a stake from a wooden cricket stump we had set up in the back yard.. lol. Pretty funny.
We went down to the beach and waited for the other guys to turn up. The group of my friends waited up a hill just in case they turned up with more numbers, I think they were wogs so naturally they would turn up in a pack (no offence). My sick friend and I waited down near the road, because they hadn't met us.
We didn't want to fight either, we were sick!
When they turned up in 2 cars, they charged to the beach with cricket and baseball bats looking. My sick mate and I were just laughing, thinking it was a good idea to wait on a hill!
Eventually they saw us and walked up to us and asked if we had seen a group of guys, one with red hair. We told them we hadn't so we ended just talking before they left.
After that we walked up the hill looking for our friends, we found them mucking around in a drive way, we scared the hell out of them and went home after telling them they had cricket bats.

Nice story Mojo_14, thoroughly enjoyed it, just to let you know next time, should have gotten Noosa to back you up lol, he could of taken a private jet to make it in time! :D

Ohhh yeah my story... When I played under 12 cricket, some guy thought I called him a prost____, so he punched me in the guts, of course people backed me up, and yeah it didn't go much further.

He ran off to play the ball which i had handballed, i ran him down, started belting the shit out of him coz he was a tight bitch who everyone was sick of. he began crawling into a pheotal position, which is when the teacher who let the fight go (as he also hated the prick) finally stopped me.
The douche noone liked got a weeks suspension, whilst I got a warning and had to see the student counsillor once:) just shows what a good and bad rep does for you:)

I remember walking around in school, as a lanky, tall year 8, no friends, one year 10 decided to run up and put bubblegum in my hair,
He did, and ran back to his friends and they were all laughing at me, leaning against lockers, i thought "____ this shit" went up and kicked him in the face, he hit his head on the back of the locker and got stitches, i got several punches to the face but i count it as a win.

Yep....I always charge from behind when they are not looking and smash them in the back of the head. Never lost using that strategy.

plenty at school when i was a kid ... early primary I used to get bullied , then watched some Bruce Lee movies and I was set, no one got near me again with my fast kicks.
some forgettable draws .. some memorable shockers. I won a few, never lost any though.
I now let my physical size speak for itself and not get in to fights.

I had the best take-down move, sneak up to someone when there not looking, put them in a head lock than push them straight into the ground. Worked on people that were over 6 foot. Only problem is be prepared to back your fists after you have done it.

How much can you know about yourself, you've never been in a fight? I don't wanna die without any scars. So come on; hit me before I lose my nerve.
I used to be a bit of a brawler until a friend of mine was attacked and ended up virtually brain dead, confined to a bed, unable to communicate. You never think it can happen to someone you know, but when it does to changes you. Never been in a fight since, hate violence. He is on tv, news, 60 mins etc quite often..

Of course. Been on the end of a fair amount of ass kickings in my time, also handed them out. Funniest was having a guys brother who I had a fight with during school come upto me the next day with 5 others. He punched me in the face I turned to look at him and they all walked away after it. :D
