Here's a question for all of you. Is it independantly run or does the AFL run the campaign?
The GC17.com.au, theirs newsletters and all that.

I'd suggest that it is independant of the AFL, but with their support.
It is obviously overseen by Downie and Co, and I guess it is funded by the support that they have been raising, ie: the $150,000 given to them by Southport, etc.

Yeah it's interesting, as I just did a quick search on who owned the domain name and it is registered to the AFL.

Checked it. That's true.
Tried to see the business name and abn so I could check who owned that, but alas, no disclaimer on the website. :o
I'm right behind gc17, but it's a pretty crappy website to be honest. :o

I guess that there isn't much more they can have on it at the moment, it gives you the chance to sign up and that's about all they are after right now.
