Favorite 5 TV shows I have watched religiously, never missing an episode.
The Shield
Californication (only one season in but so entertaining)
Entourage
OZ
How I Met Your Mother
While I love Family Guy and South Park they dont make the list for lack of a continual story line.
A bit tough to narrow it down to 5, but of shows currently still producing new seasons:
Lost
House
Dexter
How I Met Your Mother
Prison Break
Honorable mentions to Scrubs and Californication.

I like that show too! It's only 6 episodes long because BBC shows only have 6 eps a season (eg. Black Books).

NCIS is the worst show on television. How can you enjoy a show where the 'hard man' looks like a minister.

Yeah, I'd probably choose Ziva as well, but she could make your last remaining minutes on earth a living hell, she could kill you a million ways, and not that many of them would leave a smile on your face.:)
Although I guess Abby could kill you too, and with her expertise in forensics, she's probably get away with it.
