There is no way in the world i would trade him, not even for 5 first round picks, but just wanted to know what other people would give up for him if they could.

Most players his age wouldn't be worth anything, but considering his lack of soft tissue injuries and assuming he keeps up his current form what do you think he would be worth?

I love Richo. I am one of Richo's biggest fans, but his trade value is incredibly low. His body is absolutely shot to pieces. This has been a really tolling season on him and there's no secret that he's really struggling to get up for each game. No soft tissue injuries, but the wear and tear on his body is substantial, particularly from his new role.

On top of that, the man bleeds yellow and black. In the hypothetical scenario that Richmond put him up for trade that'd have to play on any clubs mind. Richo's heart just wouldn't be in it the same as it is with the Tiges.

Hard to say. For instance,if the Doggies got their hands on him, if only for one season, they could possibly go from contenders to a real premiership threat.

Nothing as far as trade value, but a club with a window of opportunity for a premiership may pick him up with their last pick as a speculative pick in a draft...even though, would never happen, but like most supporters, would love to see him on the dias collecting a premiership medallion.

minimal one would think. Regardless of this 'premiership window' theory, a club will not trade away any pick which may result in a 10 year player for a bloke that will only play a max 3 years. Therefore I would think somewhere between pick 45 onwards maybe...possibly slightly lower

hypothetically obviously, but Richmond could get a 3rd round pick. 1 yr players dont demand much at the trading table.

They could get a first round pick from the dogs no doubt.

Clubs wouldn't give anything Richmond would deem acceptable.

At 33 (?), he's well and truly near the end of his career, and as has been said, no one would give anything significant for him. Maybe a player swap, but draft picks seem unlikely.

Why would the Dogs want Richo? We allready have the highest scoring forward line in the league.

dogs never trade first round picks.(since being burnt with rawlings) You guys need forwards more than we do.

We arent contenders though. Difference is Richo has been a star #1 forward his whole career. Rawlings was Hawthorns 3rd tall forward the year before you got him, he was never that great, still can't believe you selected him over Stevens

perhaps because we had enough midfielders but no key forward:rolleyes:
And why would we give our first roung pick for a bloke who'll play 2 seasons max (most likely 1) when we would otherwise use it on Ayce Cordy as a F/S Pick? Maybe think before you make stupid statements. Even without the option to get Cordy why would we disrupt the best functioning forward line in the league?

Nothing.

Too old.

How many years has Richo got left?

Why would a club offer up anything decent for a player who will only play two more years?

Is this a joke?

No club in the league would offer a first rounder for a 33-year-old.

Agree Gunnar, no matter how well he is playing his trade value is still very low. Clubs have seen in the past that topping up your list to get a premiership doesn't usually work too well, and with a guy his age you never know when he might break down. Still a gun, but no team would trade a first round draft pick for him.

Spida Everitt landed a 2nd round pick to the Hawks when he went to the Swans and he wasn't playing anywhere near the quality of football that Richo is

The damage it would do to the club & team to trade away the guy who 'is' the club in so many ways....We'd never get enough to compensate for that.

Not to mention, I think he'd retire if traded.
